Assiut University participates in the proceedings of the Second World Forum on Higher Education and Scientific Research

Assiut University participated in the proceedings of the second World Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the General Conference of the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), which was honored in the presence of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and a group of Egyptian government ministers as well as Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) from December 8 to 10 in the administrative capital.
The university delegation participating in the work of the forum was led by Professor Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, and included Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Affairs and Research, as well as 11 deans of colleges at the university, led by Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and a number of faculty members of various colleges, as well as about 150 students from the university who study in various theoretical and practical colleges.

It is worth mentioning that the forum discusses the role of higher education institutions in preparing and qualifying students and young researchers for future jobs and the needs of the local and international labor market in light of the rapid changes in employment skills, the most important of which is the future of work, the preparation and qualification of students and young researchers for future jobs, the needs of local and international labor markets in light of the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, rapid changes in employment skills and demand for the labor market, digital transformation as the forum includes the establishment of a series of activities and activities, in Photo meetings, seminars, workshops, panel discussions and scientific lectures by experts from academics, professionals and representatives of international organizations, businessmen and youth, in addition to an exhibition featuring many pavilions for participants from various public, private and international universities, technological companies specializing in education and scientific research, international organizations, and funding destinations, stressing the importance of the second edition of the forum, which coincides this year with Egypt hosting the work of the fourteenth session of the General Conference of the Organization of  Isisco

Under the auspices of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, the Central Upper Egypt Region and the Literature Club of the Palace of Assiut Culture in cooperation with Assiut University. In the context of the strengthening of Assiut University for various talents, the closing ceremony was held and the awards of the Festival of Popular and Review Arts Festival between the university colleges were held and organized by the Department of Arts under the auspices of Professor Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of the University, Professor Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, in the presence of Dr. Wajdi Nakhla, Chairman of the Festival Jury, Dr. Saudi Mohammed, Social Activity Advisor, Dr. Atef Farouk Al-Qarn, Dr. Prince Abdul Sattar, Advisor on Mobile Activity and Public Service, and Dr. Muntaser Al-Qalaly Mr. Ezzedine Al Mansouri and Professor Mohammed Juma, and a group of deans and agents of colleges and faculty members and their assistants from various colleges of the university and members of the High Committee for Student Activities, led by Dr. Najla Hussein, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty of Arts and Professor Alaa Omran, Director General of the Department of Youth Welfare at the Faculty of Arts and members of the festival jury.

Assiut University is witnessing the launch of the activities celebrating the World Day of Arabic Language, which was organized by the sectors of education and students, community service and environmental development, in cooperation with the Center for Arabic Language in the Faculty of Arts in the presence of Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Malik, Vice President of Al-Azhar University, Luja Kaplan, Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Moata, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar University. Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al Tayeb, Director of the Center for Arabic Language, Dr. Hafiz Maghribi, Professor and Head of The Department of Rhetoric and Criticism at Dar al-Uloom College at Minya University, Professor Mujahid Khalaf, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Jumhuriya Newspaper in Cairo, and a group of deans, faculty agents and faculty members of various university colleges and representatives of civil society bodies and community institutions, with the participation of students of Dar al-Kawthar schools and Ennahda Junior School girls.

Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Al Jamal, President of Assiut University, Assiut University witnessed the closing ceremony of the University's celebration of The International Day of the Arabic Language, organized by the education and student affairs sectors, community service and environmental development, in cooperation with the Center for Arabic Language, in the presence of Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Sheikh Assem Qubisi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Assiut, and Deputy Dr. Mohammed Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. Juma, Minister of Endowments, Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Mohammed Al Tayeb, Director of the Center, Dr. Asma Abdul Rahman, Advisor on Cultural Activity and General Supervisor of the Organization of the Celebration, Sheikh Sayed Abdul Aziz, Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House and a group of deans and agents of colleges, faculty members, members of the High Committee for Student Activities and representatives of the Ministry of Endowments and the Egyptian Family House, education and with the participation of university students from various colleges.

First meetings of the Students' Union of the Faculty of Arts

Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, held the first meeting of the Students' Union of the Faculty of Arts in the faculty's meeting room in the presence of Professor Dr. Khalid Salameh, Undersecretary of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Najla Hussein, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the College, Professor Dr. Sameh Al Banna, Advisor of the Technical Committee and The President of the Department of Antiquities at the College, and Dr. Asma Abdul Rahman, Advisor to the Scientific Committee, Dr. Shreen Abdul Ghaffar, Advisor to the Social Committee, Dr. Yemeni Atef, Advisor to the Cultural Committee, and Dr. Badri Hadai, Guest Advisor to the Scientific Committee.  The Committee of Mobile and Public Service and Dr. Hind Hassanein, media coordinator of the college and student/ Abdulrahman Rashad, president of the University Union and student Zainab Ashraf, vice president of the University Union and student A. Mohammed Hassan, president of the college union and student lubna Najah, vice president of the union in addition to the members of the faculty union council. This is the first meeting after the end of the student union election race at the college, which aims to present the opinions of students on different topics and their problems and discuss them with the dean's excellency as well as coordinate multiple student activities inside and outside the college.

Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Arts holds a training course in programmatic accreditation

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, a training course was organized in the field of program accreditation throughout Monday and Tuesday, December 28/27, 2021 in cooperation with the Center for the Development of University Education at Assiut University and under the supervision of Dr. Essam Adel, Head of the Quality Assurance Unit of the College and with the participation of Professor Dr. Hassan Al Hawari, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Dr. Nadia Qutb, Deputy Director of the Quality Unit, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Khalid Salameh, Faculty Undersecretary for Education and Students Affairs and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Muti, Undersecretary of the Faculty For community service and environmental development, the heads of departments at the college and a group of faculty members and their aides at the college.
This is part of the college's management's keenness to raise awareness of the overall quality system, provide support to faculty members and their aides, expand their ability to measure and evaluate institutions in the performance of their functions and enable them to effectively strategically plan to perform the college's mission in light of its objectives and operational plans to ensure that the level of the educational process is upgraded.
