Assiut University witnessed today the opening of the second forum of Peoples Week organized by the University with the slogan "Peoples against extremism and terrorism" under the auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, holding a session in the presence of Major General Essam Saad, Governor of the Region and Major General Staff of War Mohib Habashi, Commander of the Southern Military Region, Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students affairs and director of the session, and Dr. Taya Abdul Latif, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Activities Students, stars of journalism and media Professor Mahmoud Muslim, Professor Emad Eddin Hussein, Engineer Ashraf Rashad, majority leader of the House of Representatives, and Major General Staff Mahmoud Al-Ghatabi, former director of the National Defense College, Dr. Nazir Ayad, Secretary General of the Islamic Research Complex, Professor Tarek Saada, Media Captain, Mr. Santo of the State of Sudan representing the participating delegations, and student Abdul Rahman Rashad, President of the University Students' Union, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Affairs and Research, accompanied by a group of executive, popular and security leaders, senior clerics, media and university leaders in Assiut.

The opening session included a telegram of thanks and support from the participants in the forum to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Republic, which was delivered by Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs and General Supervisor of the Organization of the Forum Dr. Shehata Ghraib, Mr. Samantha representing the delegations participating in the forum and Abdul Rahman Rashad, President of the University Students Union, in which they went to His Excellency the President with the highest appreciation and gratitude for his pioneering and unprecedented role in appreciating the role of youth and faith. The street includes a presentation of the most important features of heritage expressing the culture of each people participating in the forum of peoples week in the official uniform of each country and the most important characteristics of food, drinks and works of art, and during his inspection of the street of peoples welcomed the president of Assiut University welcomed students participating in the forum and scholars from various Egyptian universities, who represent about 30 Arab and African nationalities and the keenness of students to take commemorative pictures with the university administration and guests of the forum of dignitaries.

Dr. Shehata Ghraib said that the street witnessed the participation of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Algeria and Ghania, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Oman, South Africa, Niger, Tunisia, Bahrain, Yemen and Palestine.

The President of Assiut University stated that the opening of the Nile Center for Enlightenment and Cultural Radiation came after the completion of the work of development and modernization of its possibilities in accordance with the latest engineering and technical systems with a capacity of up to 1200 individuals and was provided with the latest furniture, curtains, decoration and sound systems and lighting, a work that took several months under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Helmy Al-Hafnawi Engineering Advisor to the President of the University and the General Department of Engineering Affairs at the University, Dr. Tarek Jamal added that the center comes within the framework of the university's keenness to support and care Student activities where the Nile Center is scheduled to contribute to a qualitative shift in the technical and theatrical activity presented at the university.

Dr. Shehata Ghraib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs and General Supervisor of the People's Week Forum, added that the university's hosting of the star Ali Al-Hajjar in a huge concert represents a strong start to the Nile Center for Enlightenment and Cultural Radiation, because of the enormous popularity enjoyed by the artist appeared in the keenness of a huge crowd to attend from different age groups.

Dr. Shehata Ghraib revealed that the star Ali Al-Hajjar presented a collection of his most beautiful old and modern songs, which included as much as we loved, a boy and a girl, and the gate of Helwani, Arifa, Ghaweish, performed zain, bride, samra and eyes as a trick, money and children, written to me, along with Mili of the most famous national songs amid a large interaction of attendees at the ceremony.

The ceremony also included the presentation of one of the university's most promising talents, student Myrna Adel, a student at the Faculty of Quality Education, who performed the song "Dear to the Heart" and co-star On Al-Hajjar in the presentation of the song "Ze al-Hawa."
