The Gen-Z competition is sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the United Advertising Services Company, and aims to spread the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among Egyptian university students from all different scientific disciplines who have innovative ideas or community initiatives that address the difficulties and challenges of society, and provide them with support to establish startups based on innovative ideas.

The competition provides financial support to each eligible team up to a maximum of EGP 2 mn in incubation prizes, and provides participating teams with the opportunity to attend a range of management and finance training programs, and mentoring sessions.

Inclusion of (23) Assiut University scientists among the top 2% of the most distinguished scientists in the American Stanford list

Dr. El-Minshawy: The report is an indicator of the progress of scientific research at Assiut University

Assiut University received a report on the announcement of Stanford University in the United States the list of the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists in various disciplines, the list included (23) faculty members from Assiut University in various disciplines, according to the annual report issued by Stanford University for the current year.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy congratulated the university's scientists listed in the list of Stanford University on this honorable scientific achievement, which reflects the university's rich scientific cadres of genius, capable of raising the status and name of Assiut University at all international and global levels, stressing that the university administration spares no effort in supporting researchers from the university, and creating the appropriate research environment for them to improve their research outputs, and increase scientific publishing of their research in prestigious scientific journals listed in international databases.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi explained that the Stanford University report enhances the confidence of the international scientific research community in the world.
