Assiut University organized a seminar titled 'Parliamentary Elections and the Responsibility of the Academic Elite in Building the Egyptian State'

Assiut University organized a seminar entitled "Parliamentary Elections and the Responsibility of the Academic Elite in Building the Egyptian State," under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was attended by several academic leaders of the university and the academic elite, including faculty members, assistant staff, and administrative personnel, among them Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, accompanied by a number of faculty members and their assistants from the faculty. The seminar addressed the role of students within the university and the role of faculty members in raising students’ awareness about the importance of participating in political life. It also aimed to promote electoral awareness and develop political culture among the academic elite, as well as to encourage the submission of studies and scientific research that contribute to the development of parliamentary and legislative work. Additionally, it sought to enhance the values of citizenship, belonging, and social responsibility among the university's academic elite, affirming the university's role in building national awareness and active participation in the development of modern Egypt.
