Effectiveness of a mental training program for Junior Egyptian scuba divers

Research Abstract
Abstract: The aim of the study was to assess the effects of a mental training program on Scuba diving performance. 20 participants enrolled in junior open water diving courses served as anticipants. Method: in Scuba diving program (13-14year) in summer 2019. Each group (n=4). In addition to scuba training, received. The intervention group reported different significant between pre and post test scores for: Sport Mental Training Questionnaire – SMTQ, Trait Sport –Confidence Inventory (TSCI), and the Athletes Perception of Quality of Performance During practice (APQP), and some of SCUBA Skills. Control value for each parameter was calculated as an average value mean and standard deviation ±SD. Results: scores post-test Significates for Psychological characteristics performed better on Scuba Skills: in the questions (Q12) Whenever I lose my self-control during a competition, I can regain control of my own actions in the right moment (P=9.1*).(Q2) I use self-talk to improve my actions, focusing my attention on key-elements of performance (technique, tactics, body sensations)(P=6.85*).(Q17)I use mental imagery to control my own emotions(P=6.69*). significant differences in Test of Trait Sport –Confidence Inventory (TSCI)For junior Scuba Divers in the following questions (Q1) Compare your confidence in your ability to implement the skills to be successful for the most trusted athlete you know. (P=8.64*), (Q8) Compare your confidence in your ability to be successful for the most trusted athlete you know. (P=7.58*), (Q13) Compare your confidence in your ability to bounce back from poor performance and succeed in the most trusted athlete you know. (P=5.67*). significant differences in Test of Scuba diving skills We found significant differences in Test of Scuba diving skills for junior Scuba Divers in the following tests and evaluation in the following tests:(Q20) Buddy breathing stationery and swimming (donor and receiver) (p=9.37*),(Q11) Fin pivot (neutral buoyancy)(P=9.14*).Conclusion: Pre-performance mental visualization and psychological tests are a process of transition from non-performance-related conditions to performance-related conditions directly to link the movement vocabulary and the overall visualization of underwater motor skill. This improves the level of skill performance and increases the speed of acquisition and learning skills and gives the diver More confidence under water and the ability to get rid of the wrong performance that causes the crises and pressures of the performance of skilled diving. during Mental training improved psychological skills to enhance junior scuba diving performance.

Apnea Workouts for Scuba Divers to Establish Underwater Fitness

Research Abstract
Abstract Introduction: The aim of the study was to assess the effects of Apnea underwater training on physiological characteristics, Scuba diving Skills, fins swimming endurance, and breath hold time for scuba divers can establish underwater fitness with scuba diving equipment. The data was collected from randomly selected (20 mal) healthy divers in Egypt 2018.The physiological variables during tow Apnea methods Subject were tested on two separate times with spirometer and E.C.G. and diving skills consist of CESA, Swimming endurance tests. Control value for each parameter was calculated as an average value mean and standard deviation ±SD from apnea. Results: The relative changes were calculated for each subject, an individual mean value from the three last apneas in each condition was calculated for all parameters. The improvement of apneic time values was compared between, before and after, underwater Apnea program. Diving and swimming Skills variables were also compared between Apnea methods using paired t-test. The level used for accepting significance was *P 0.05., heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, cardiac output, heart stork volume, Oxygen Uptake, Carbon Dioxide Excretion, Static apnea. Discussion: The ventilator and cardiology parameters observed after Apnea workouts better and heart rat valuables, the apnea performance, diving and Swimming skills. These results became more significant, indicating the positive effect of Apnea method on performance. Using underwater Apnea exercise with SCUBA diving equipment can improve breath holding, SCUBA diving skills and improve apnea time for divers.

Relation between Scuba Diving and the happiness among paraplegia Persons

Research Abstract
Abstract: Diving is an ideal sport for almost all people with physical disabilities, and therefore, has been increasingly popular as a way of rehabilitation for such people. The study was conducted on a sample of 10 male participants. The aim: To assess the psychosocial status of the applied sample, one psychological scale The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire was developed by psychologists Michael Argyle and Peter Hills at Oxford University and five water training and Swim evaluation. were implemented before and after the diving training. Data analysis was performed using spss program statistics. Results: After the three-week diving program, results show that the distribution of data has changed and is in favor of the post measurement in the physical testes during scuba diving skills Confined Water Swimming Skills, Confined Water Skin Diving /Snorkeling Skills, Confined Water SCUBA Diving Skills, Open Water SCUBA Diving Skills .and in the 29 question’s in Pre and Post the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire Paraplegia Divers Conclusion: The study showed that after a three-week programmed diving training, the quality of life of people with disabilities has improved and they adopted elements of diving techniques. This shows that people with disabilities are as well qualified for recreational diving when accompanied by a diving instructor, which again suggests that disability in and under water does not represent a barrier for recreational underwater activities.

Effects of water resistance training program on Special physical fitness for Rescue Egyptian Scuba Divers

Research Abstract
ABSTRACT: BACKGROUNDː the aim of the study was to assess the effects of the water resistance training program using tools such as Push Plate Chest Press, Jump Squats w/ Push Plate, Kettlebell Swing, Clutch Paddles Biceps Curl, Push Plate Rotations, Washboard Kicks. Buoyancy Belt, Barbells, and, ABC tools (Mask, Snorkel, Fins). on some of physical fitness for the Recreational and Officer Egyptian diver's Fitness and health. METHODE: The data was collected from randomly selected (40 Male) Recreational and Officer Divers in Egypt 2017. physical fitness battery Administration (PFTB) such as Vertical Jump, One Minute Sit-Ups, Maximum Push-Ups, 300-Meter Run, 1.5-Mile Run/Walk. RESULTSː the relative changes were calculated for each subject, an individual mean between rescue Recreational and officer scuba divers in PFTB, it's a significant different in (PFTB) after (RT) for officer rescue diver than a recreational rescue divers in (VJ) with percent rate 4.7% and T-test 4.2*,in (OMSU) with 5.1% and T-test 6.8* ,in (MPU)5.5% and T-test 7.78*,in (300 MR) with 5.5% and T-test 2.13*, and in(1.5MR/W) with 5.5%, and T-test 2.2*.CONCLUSIONS: The Special fitness parameters observed after water resistance workouts better for all rescue divers but observed in officer divers than recreational divers, after using the variety of training method on the surface, submerged ,and under water exercises . These results became more significant, indicating the positive effect of training program. can improve a total body power capacity to do a many task of working in water such as rescue or to enhancing a total body fitness, that required not for rescue diver but for all sports type.

تأثير برنامج تعليمي باستخدام نموذج كندسن علي مستوي أداء بعض المهارات الأساسية في هوكي الميدان لطلاب كلية التربية الرياضية جامعة أسيوط

موضوع البحث: تأثير برنامج تعليمي باستخدام نموذج كندسن علي مستوي أداء بعض المهارات الأساسية في هوكي الميدان لطلاب كلية التربية الرياضية جامعة أسيوط د / أحمد عادل تميم محمد ملخص البحث: استهدف البحث تصميم برنامج تعليمي باستخدام نموذج كندسن وأثره علي بعض المهارات الأساسية في هوكي الميدان لطلاب كلية التربية الرياضية جامعة اسيوط ، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بـإسلوب ”الدراسة المسحية” لإجراء التحليل الكيفي ثم استخدم المنهج التجريبي بالتصميم التجريبي للمجموعة الواحدة بالقياسين القبلي والبعدي وذالك لمناسبتهما لطبيعة البحث ، وتم اختيار عينة البحث بالطريقة العمدية العشوائية والبالغ عددهم (40) طالب بالفرقة الثانية بكلية التربية الرياضية بجامعة أسيوط للعام الدراسى (2017م -2018م) ، وقد استخدم الباحث أدوات جمع البيانات التالية استمارات تسجيل البيانات ، الاختبارات البدنية والمهارية ، واستمارات تقيم الأداء المهارى ، تصميم البرنامج التعليمى المقترح ، وقد توصل الباحث إلى أهم النتائج أن البرنامج التعليمي في ضوء نموذج كندسن قد ظهر تأثيره علي فعالية المستوي الأداء المهاري للمهارات قيد البحث( ضرب الكرة بالوجة المسطح للمضرب ، الضربة الأفقية المسطحة ، نطر الكرة ) في هوكي الميدان لدي عينة البحث ، وأظهرت نتائج التحليل الكيفي باستخدام المبادئ التسعه لكندسن بعض الفروق في المهارات والتي ساهمت في تصميم البرنامج التعليمي المقترح ، و يوصى الباحث ضرورة استخدام البرنامج التعليمي المقترح بما يتضمنه من خصائص لما له من تأثير إيجابي في تقدم المستوي الأداء المهاري لدي عينة البحث في المهارات قيد البحث ، الاهتمام بالتوصيف الكيفي للنتائج الكيفية للمهارات قيد البحث في ضوء المبادئ التسع بنموذج كندسن، لكونها تعطي تفصيلا اكثر عمقا.

تأثير برنامج تعليمي باستخدام إستراتيجية اللعب التربوي على مستويات الأداء في الكرة الطائرة لتلاميذ مرحلة الإعداد المهني بمدارس التربية الفكرية

Research Abstract
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى "تصميم برنامج تعليمي باستخدام إستراتيجية اللعب التربوي في الكرة الطائرة لتلاميذ مرحلة الإعداد المهني القابلين للتعلم بمدارس التربية الفكرية" ومعرفة أثره على مستوى التحصيل المعرفي و الأداء البدني وتعلم بعض المهارات في الكرة الطائرة، وقد أجريت الدراسة علي تلاميذ الصف السابع والثامن بمدرسة التربية الفكرية بمحافظة أسيوط للعام الدراسي (2014 /2015م)، والبالغ عددهم (20) تلميذ بالطريقة العمدية. واستخدمت الباحثة التصميم التجريبي لمجموعة تجريبية واحدة طبق عليها البرنامج المقترح، واستغرق تنفيذ البرنامج المقترح (8) أسابيع بعدد أربع وحدات تعليمية لمهارات البحث بواقع أربع دروس لكل وحدة ودرسين في الأسبوع وزمن الدرس (45) دقيقة طبقا لما وارد في المنهاج المدرسي، واستخدمت الباحثة اختبار التحصيل المعرفي "من تصميم الباحثة" و الاختبارات البدنية والمهارية قيد البحث كأدوات لجمع البيانات. وبعد تطبيق البرنامج تم إجراء القياسات البعدية وجمع البيانات والتي تم تحليلها إحصائياً باستخدام اختبار (ت) لدلالة الفروق للقياس القبلي والبعدي. واستخلصت الدراسة أن البرنامج التعليمي باستخدام إستراتيجية اللعب التربوي له تأثير إيجابي دال إحصائيا على المستوى المعرفي و البدني والمهاري للتلاميذ المعاقين فكريا بمرحلة الإعداد المهني. وقد أوصت الباحثة ضرورة تطبيق البرنامج المقترح باستخدام إستراتيجية اللعب التربوي في مدارس التربية الفكرية، لما له من تأثير إيجابي وفعّال على المستوى المعرفي والبدني والمهارى لدى التلاميذ المُعاقين فكرياً.
