Congratulations to the student/Louay Mohammed Shaaban

The Faculty of Sports Sciences at Assiut University extends its sincere congratulations and deepest pride to student Louay Mohamed Shaaban, a third-year student in the Department of Sports Training and Movement Sciences, for winning first place as the best minister at Assiut University in the thirteenth season of the Egyptian Cabinet Simulation Model.
The Faculty also congratulates its distinguished team, representing the Ministry of Youth and Sports, for winning third place as the best ministry at the university level. It extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to this honorable achievement.

An inspection tour by the Dean of the College to ensure the progress of the examinations for the second semester of 2024/2025 AD

His Excellency Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, conducted an inspection tour of the undergraduate examination committees during the first day of the end of the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year to ensure the smooth running of the examination process.

During his tour, His Excellency emphasized the need to adhere to the regulations and controls in the examination committees.

He also emphasized the need to adhere to the exam procedures and take all necessary measures to ensure calm and a suitable environment for students within the examination committees. He also emphasized the need to provide all means of safety and comfort for them, and to ensure the presence of specialized subject professors and supervisors within the committees to answer students' inquiries and questions and resolve any unexpected problems during the exams.

During the tour, he also surveyed students' opinions about the nature of the exams and their difficulty, and asked them about any problems during the exams. He emphasized the need to address any negligence, shortcomings, or actions that could disrupt the examination process, in accordance with the provisions of the Universities Regulation Law and its Executive Regulations. At the end of his inspection tour, he recommended adhering to the necessary controls for the committees' work, while creating an appropriate atmosphere for the students' comfort and ensuring the examination process proceeds smoothly and calmly.

Sustainable Creativity Competition

The New and Renewable Energy Authority, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, announces an art competition titled "Sustainable Creativity." The competition will feature expressive paintings (murals) on the Authority's external wall, focusing on the following areas:

Renewable energy

Improving energy efficiency

Sustainability

Preserving biodiversity and migratory birds
The murals will be located on the main facade of the Authority's wall, consisting of 30 pink brick murals, each measuring 4.70 m x 1.80 m.
#Competition Categories
Single mural (one mural).
A series of murals (3 weeping women, for example) depicting the development of wind energy in Egypt. For more details, please visit the website.

An online workshop will be held to explain the competition and answer inquiries.

No inquiries will be accepted after May 15, 2025.

Competition Prizes
One prize will be awarded for each category for a single mural, worth EGP 15,000.
One prize will be awarded for each category for a series mural, worth EGP 45,000.
The full value of the prize will be awarded after the wall is executed, if it matches the design. The Authority will hold a celebration to announce the results and distribute prizes to the winners.

Egyptian Survey of Student Engagement (ESSE)

The Supreme Council of Universities announces the launch of the Egyptian University Student Engagement Survey (ESSE). The survey targets final-year students in the 2024-2025 academic year at Egyptian universities.
This survey, the first conducted by the Supreme Council of Universities through the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center, was launched to ensure a safe environment for Egyptian university students to express their opinions.
The survey aims to measure the quality of educational services at Egyptian universities, enhance communication between students and educational institutions, and encourage a culture of participation and constructive interaction to improve the quality of the educational process. Through this survey, indicators are issued that monitor the quality of educational services, professional and academic support provided by Egyptian universities, and the experiences students gain within Egyptian universities.
