The Faculty of Physical Education organized the Ramadan Football Tournament for faculty members from various faculties of Assiut University. The closing ceremony and final matches for third and fourth place were held, followed by the final match for first and second place, where the Faculty of Physical Education 2 won first place ?, while the Faculty of Arts won second place ?, and the Faculty of Physical Education 1 won third place ?. Then, prizes were distributed to the winning teams, in addition to several prizes for the best associate dean, which was won by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Duaib Hussein; the best scorer, which was won by Professor Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Faculty of Arts; the best goalkeeper, which was won by Dr. Ali Saad, Faculty of Physical Education 1; the best player, which was won by Professor Dr. Yasser Al-Darawy, Faculty of Agriculture; the best coach, Dr. Mohamed Khalaf, Faculty of Education; and the best team in sportsmanship, which was won by the Faculty of Law. Yesterday, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, the Ramadan Football Tournament for faculty members from Assiut University colleges began. A public draw was conducted, groups were drawn, matchups and match schedules were determined, and the first day's matches were executed in an atmosphere filled with friendliness and intimacy among all participants and attendees.

The University Council’s decision issued on October 27, 2021 regarding military education courses for female students, including national education, was approved, as is the case for male students. Military education courses will begin as of the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, with 12 military education courses per semester and a maximum of 24 courses per academic year, according to what is stated in the memorandum.

Logo Design Competition for the Student Activities Sector With reference to the letter from Prof. Dr. Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities to the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities, which states that, in light of the fruitful cooperation between the Supreme Council of Universities and the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education, and to affirm the identity of Student Activities and achieve the goal of building an informed generation, the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities, is launching a competition among specialized colleges at Egyptian universities to design a logo for the Student Activities Sector at the Ministry. This competition will run from March 15, 2025, until the end of April 2025. Student works will be evaluated in the first week of May 2025, and the three best works will be selected, with the winning students honored. Studentscu@scu.eg
