Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy — President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adwa — Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gihan Nabil Fetih— Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Noha Nahid Attia — Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and upon the assignment of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Malek — Director of the University Energy Management Center, and on the sidelines of the monthly meetings of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty, a meeting was held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, with Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Sater Suwaifi — Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and a member of the University Energy Management Center, in attendance with Prof. Dr. Noha Nahedj Atia — Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, along with committee members and representatives of the relevant Faculty departments. During the meeting, he presented the general guidelines and required procedures for energy rationalization and consumption reduction. Prof. Dr. Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs outlined the procedures followed at the Faculty for energy rationalization, the mechanism for their implementation, as well as the monitoring of consumption and the optimal use of energy, which is a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development
