- The Council of Professors of the Department of Pediatric Nursing, held on 5-10-2025, approved the appointment of Dr. Atiyat Muhammad Hassan, Assistant Professor in the Department, to the rank of Professor, based on the decision of the Scientific Committee for Promotions to the Ranks of Professors and Assistant Professors in Nursing, dated 26-8-2025, which stated that the scientific output submitted by Her Excellency qualifies her to obtain the rank of Professor in Pediatric Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing - Assiut University.

- The Council of Professors of the Department of Nursing Management, meeting held on 5-10-2025, approved the appointment of Dr. Amal Sayed Mohamed Abdel Hafez, Assistant Professor in the Department, to the rank of Professor, based on the decision of the Scientific Committee for Promotions to the Ranks of Professors and Assistant Professors in Nursing, dated 26-8-2025, which stated that the scientific output submitted by Her Excellency qualifies her to obtain the rank of Professor in Nursing Management at the Faculty of Nursing - Assiut University.

- The Nursing Management Department Council, in its meeting No. (180) held on 6-10-2025, approved the appointment of Dr. Maha Mohamed Rashed Ghaly, a lecturer in the department, to the rank of Assistant Professor, based on the decision of the Scientific Committee for Promotions to the Ranks of Professors and Assistant Professors in Nursing dated 26-8-2025, which states that the scientific output submitted by her qualifies her to obtain the rank of Assistant Professor in Nursing Management at the Faculty of Nursing - Assiut University.

- The Department of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Council, in its 149th session held on 2-10-2025, approved the appointment of Ms. Sharbat Mustafa Muhammad, Assistant Lecturer in the Department, to the position of Lecturer, as she was awarded a PhD on 25-9-2025.

- The approval of the Council of the Department of Internal and Surgical Nursing in its meeting No. (186) held on 1-10-2025 AD to appoint both: Mrs. Walaa Ali Abdul Rahman and Mrs. Asmaa Mahmoud Jumaa, Assistant Lecturers in the Department, to the position of Lecturers, as they were granted the PhD degree on 25-9-2025 AD.

- The Nursing Management Department Council, in its 180th session held on 6-10-2025, approved the appointment of Teaching Assistant Madeleine Ishaq Nazmi to the position of Lecturer, and she was awarded a Master's degree in Nursing Science (Nursing Management) on 1-10-2025.

The council also discussed various topics related to departmental councils and different sectors within the college.

The campaign was implemented with the participation of Dr. Asmaa Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Infection Control Unit at Assiut University Hospital, and Dr. Amal Abdel Shafi, Director of the Medical Clinic at the Faculty of Nursing .

The campaign aims to protect nursing students and the Technical Institute of Nursing from the risks of contracting the virus, and to raise their awareness of the importance of prevention and vaccination, as part of ongoing efforts to promote public health within the university campus .

This initiative comes within the framework of Assiut University’s interest in applying occupational health and safety standards, and its support for preventive and educational programs that contribute to providing a healthy and safe university environment for all its members .

The event concluded with a distinguished lecture delivered by the leader, Dr. Omar Abdul Hamid Ahmed, during which he discussed the principles of scouting and the scouting movement, and the importance of this activity in building the student personality and promoting community values .

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, inaugurated the 26th annual charity exhibition of ready-made clothes on Sunday, October 19th. The exhibition was organized by the Student Union of the Faculty of Nursing and held in the faculty's student activities hall. Also in attendance were Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Fatima Rushdi, Dean of the Faculty .

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy emphasized that the exhibition embodies an important humanitarian and social aspect of supporting university students. He explained that the exhibition includes more than 380 ready-made clothing items offered at nominal prices, reflecting the university's commitment to providing various forms of support and social care for its students. He pointed out that organizing such events represents a commendable model of volunteer and social work within the university, contributing to the consolidation of values of participation and social responsibility among students and faculty members. It also fosters an environment of cooperation and camaraderie, affirming the university's ongoing commitment to providing a conducive environment for student excellence and supporting them in various academic and social aspects .

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla praised the high level of organization and outstanding content of the exhibition, noting that the products and services offered reflect the university administration's commitment to fulfilling its community mission, providing the best possible support to its students, and alleviating their living expenses throughout the academic year .

In the same context, Dr. Fatima Rushdi explained that organizing the exhibition in its twenty-sixth edition is an extension of the college's successes in serving its students, and reflects its continuous commitment to providing diverse products at symbolic prices that suit the students' capabilities, especially those who are unable to afford them. She pointed out that the exhibition is held twice a year through the self-efforts of the faculty members and staff of the college .
