Today, Dr. Duaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College and Legal Advisor to the University President, Dr. Moamer Rateb, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ragab Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdel Salam, and Mr. Imad Ramadan, Secretary of the College, inspected the latest work to upgrade and renovate a number of the college’s facilities and buildings in preparation for their opening as soon as possible.

Dr. Duwaib directed to continue working and complete all remaining work on time and with the highest required quality, in light of the university’s strategic plan to provide a stimulating scientific environment to produce distinguished graduates with competitive work capabilities, and to expand the creation of study programs that are compatible with the requirements of the local and international labor market and bridge the knowledge gap.

Within the framework of the role of the Center for Legal Studies 
for Community Service at the Faculty of Law, Assiut University in 
developing the capabilities of students, researchers, and those working 
in legal work and equipping them with the most important professional 
and practical experiences, the Center opened a course for preparing 
a lawyer for companies and banks. This is under the patronage of 
Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, 
and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem, Vice President of the University 
for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The ceremony was opened by Professor Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of 
the College and Legal Advisor to the President of the University. 
The Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Muammar Ratib, 
Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development 
Affairs, and Professor Dr. Othman Abdel Qader, Director of the Center for 
Legal Studies, attended the session, which was held on the 6th and 7th of this month.
For his part, Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber confirmed: The course “Preparing a Lawyer for 
Companies and Banks” comes within the framework of the center’s activity and represents 
an important aspect of the college’s activities in the scientific and academic fields. 
The course addresses several topics, including: Procedures for establishing companies, 
the role of lawyers for companies and banks before the Economic Court, the role 
of lawyers within banks and companies, and oversight of companies and banks. The trainee 
obtains a certificate for attending the training course accredited by Assiut 
University and the center, in addition to developing his skills in this context, which 
will reflect positively on his competitive opportunities in the labor market.
Dr. Muammar Rateeb emphasized the college’s continuous efforts by the Environmental 
Development and Community Service Sector to develop the legal awareness of students, 
researchers, and the surrounding community, interact with its problems, and develop 
appropriate and effective legal solutions in light of Egypt’s 2030 vision to achieve 
the goals of the new republic.
Dr. Othman Abdel Qader reviewed the center’s objectives. He stated that the center will 
hold the second edition of the course on November 20 and 21 due to the large demand 
from those wishing to receive training related to this field.
On the first day, Prof. Dr. Kilani Abdel Rady, professor of commercial law at the college, 
and Prof. Dr. Othman Abdel Qader, professor and head of the Civil Procedure Law Department, 
and the cassation lawyer, lectured on the first day.
Presenting on the second day were Prof. Dr. Kilani Abdel Rady and Dr. Mohamed Ali, 
Deputy Legal Affairs Sector at the National Bank of Egypt.
The trainees expressed their happiness at passing this course and that they look forward 
to more of these practical courses.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, 
and Dr. Mahfouz Abdel Sattar Abu Al-Fadl, President of Hurghada University; 
A protocol for joint cooperation was signed in the fields of education, 
scientific research, legal consultations, and postgraduate studies in the field 
of law at the University of Hurghada, at its headquarters in the city of Hurghada, 
in the Red Sea Governorate.
The signing of the protocol at the University of Hurghada was witnessed 
by: Dr. Mahfouz Abdel Sattar Abu Al-Fadl, President of the University of Hurghada, 
and Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Assiut University, 
in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Education, 
University of Hurghada, Dr. Muammar Ratib, Vice Dean of the Assiut Faculty of Law 
for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, 
Vice Dean for Social Affairs. education and students, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Aleem, 
Assistant Professor in the Department of History of Law and Director of the English 
Language Program at the College, Professor Magdy Saeed, Head of the Bar Association 
in the Red Sea Governorate, and an elite group of members of the judicial bodies, 
faculty members, administrative leaders, and employees of the two universities.
Dr. Muhammad Abdel Aleem, Assistant Professor in the Department of History of Law 
and Director of the English Language Program at the College, Professor Magdy Saeed, 
Head of the Bar Association in the Red Sea Governorate, and an elite group of members 
of the judicial bodies, faculty members, administrative leaders, and employees of 
the two universities.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy confirmed: The important role played by Assiut University within 
universities and scientific institutions; In order to advance the scientific and cultural 
level, he explained: The protocol aims to achieve fruitful cooperation. between Assiut 
University and Hurghada University in the field of postgraduate studies, starting with 
opening registration for postgraduate studies in the field of law at Hurghada University; 
This is out of the interest of the Universities of Assiut and Hurghada,To improve society; 
Civilizationally and developmentally, noting the financial and human capabilities that 
Assiut University has, which qualify it to play a positive role. To serve society, 
develop it, and achieve prosperity and well-being for it.
Dr. Al-Minshawi stressed: The university administration is keen to expand the base 
of cooperation between the two parties in the fields of education, teaching, scientific 
research, scientific seminars, scientific conferences, and other various scientific, 
training, and research activities. Whether at the bachelor’s degree, postgraduate level, 
or any other activities in which the two parties wish to cooperate; Such as legal 
consultations, investigations, disciplinary councils, etc.
During the signing of the protocol, Dr. Mahfouz Abdel Sattar Abu Al-Fadl praised 
the prestigious Assiut University. It is the mother university of all universities. 
In central and southern Upper Egypt, he extended his thanks and appreciation to 
the Faculty of Law - Assiut University, which is considered the oldest law school 
in Upper Egypt and the fourth in the Republic, hoping that the joint cooperation 
between the two universities will result in great development in various fields, 
which will reflect positively on the entire society. This is the goal of signing 
the protocol.
For his part, Dr. Dwaib Saber; It is fully guaranteed by the University of Hurghada, 
under the light of the Faculty of Law in Assiut, to follow the door of scientific 
progress in the field of law, provided that the faculty members of the Faculty of Law 
in Assiut are committed to; Teaching courses at the University of Hurghada headquarters, 
noting that students enrolled in postgraduate studies in Hurghada can study at the college 
library in Assiut, and the computer center, And other centers and units of a special 
nature at the college and university.
He added that, according to the protocol; The Faculty of Law - Assiut University 
will grant: Diplomas, master's degrees and others; On behalf of the Faculty of Law - 
Assiut University, in accordance with the provisions of the internal regulations of 
the Faculty of Law, and the controls and conditions regulating this matter, stressing 
that this protocol is subject to the provisions of the Universities Organization Law, 
its executive regulations, the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities, 
and the relevant university decisions in this regard.

Within the framework of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building 
the Egyptian Man,” which is taking place under the patronage of His Excellency President 
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, opened today, 
Wednesday, November 13, the activities of the Scientific Educational Day on “Awareness 
of Malnutrition, Obesity, and Chronic Diseases.” "Among employees, students, Which was 
organized by the College of Law, in cooperation with the Youth Health Center of 
the Department of Public Health at the College of Medicine, under the supervision 
of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service 
and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Dweeb Hussein Saber, Dean of the College 
of Law, Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Medhat Al-Arabi, 
Director. University Youth Health Center.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy pointed out: He stressed 
the importance of the scientific day that aims to raise awareness of malnutrition, 
obesity, and chronic diseases, which comes within the framework of the “New Beginning” 
initiative, explaining that Assiut University’s plan to participate in the initiative 
aims to increase awareness and education by launching awareness campaigns and educational 
health programs, stressing the university’s interest in all its sectors. ; Educational, 
health, and therapeutic university hospitals, To maximize the benefit from the services 
provided to its members and to the external community, out of its belief in the importance 
of human health, and in implementation of the presidential initiative “Bedaya”, which is 
based on interest in building a conscious, healthy, educated human being; It contributes 
to achieving sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem drew attention to the vision of the World Health 
Organization, which is to prevent and control diseases, pointing out the importance 
of following a healthy diet and sound, sustainable nutrition. To maintain the reduction 
of malnutrition diseases in society.
Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber reported that the scientific day includes; Awareness lectures; 
To prevent chronic diseases, in addition to detecting and performing blood sugar, 
blood pressure, and weight tests; To ensure the health of employees and students.
Dr. Medhat Al-Arabi referred to the health and therapeutic services provided by the Youth 
Health Center of the University’s Department of Public Health to all groups from inside 
and outside the university, stressing the university administration’s permanent 
and ongoing support. To meet the needs of the center; To continue to provide better 
service as it is an honorable destination for the university and community service.
Worth mentioning; Today's activities included the provision of some health services; 
Including: measuring body components (weight - height - fat percentage - fat mass) for 
(300) cases, and measuring sugar (cumulative - random) for (260) cases; Faculty, staff, 
and students.
