Dr. Douib, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assiut, in a recorded speech on the occasion of the Faculty’s Golden Jubilee celebration (1975-2025)
Dr. Douib Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assiut University and Legal Advisor to the President of the University, expressed his deep appreciation and pride in the fifty-year anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Law, which is the first beacon for spreading legal sciences in Upper Egypt, and then extended to all parts of Egypt and the Arab world. He explained that the faculty was established in 1975, and graduated its first batch in 1979. Many of its students held high positions, and every year it continues to provide the country with competent graduates who carry the trust in various state institutions, whether executive, judicial, or legislative.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law stressed that over the course of five decades, the Faculty of Law has been able to achieve leadership and distinction, as the Faculty has been keen to keep pace with technical development, and to establish special units, in addition to the continuous development of the infrastructure; to maintain its high status as a distinguished legal edifice, pointing to the Faculty’s extensive activity in recent years in the fields of scientific research, and its efforts to build an educational process that links theoretical study with practical reality side by side.
