Assiut University’s Center for Marketing University Services Continues to Enhance Its Offerings to Strengthen Academic and Community Engagement

Assiut University holds a follow-up meeting at the Center for Marketing University Services to evaluate performance and advance service delivery, ensuring greater alignment with community needs and labor market demands.

Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the Center for Marketing University Services convened a meeting to review key performance indicators and explore strategies for service enhancement. The meeting was chaired by Professor Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Alaa Abdel Hafeez, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Director of the Center.

Professor El-Minshawy emphasized the Center’s vital role in promoting the university’s academic and research expertise to serve the community, noting the adoption of modern technologies to upgrade service delivery.

The meeting addressed website performance metrics, procedures for issuing certified training certificates and determining their fees, as well as the establishment of new regulatory frameworks for training courses. These efforts aim to expand the scope of services offered and support the university’s educational and research mission.

Assiut University launches the second phase of its electronic examination project as part of its digital transformation strategy, enhancing technological infrastructure in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, has announced the launch of the second phase of the university’s electronic examination system. This phase includes the upgrading and preparation of several examination halls and units to accommodate 1,631 advanced computers, alongside the enhancement of internet connectivity and the overall technological infrastructure to ensure optimal performance during digital examinations.

Professor El-Minshawy highlighted that some quiet study rooms have been converted into both permanent and seasonal centers for electronic exams, pointing to the success of the first phase implemented in the medical faculties.

He emphasized that this milestone marks a significant leap in Assiut University's digital transformation journey, contributing to the improvement of educational services and aligning with the national agenda for sustainable development.

Assiut University President joins students in a communal Iftar, extending greetings for the holy month of Ramadan and the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory; emphasizing university–student relations and supporting purposeful student activities that promote belonging and teamwork.

Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, participated in the annual communal Iftar organized by the “Students for Egypt” family under the slogan “Students of Goodness in the Month of Goodness,” with the attendance of 250 students.

During the gathering, Professor El-Minshawy extended heartfelt congratulations to the students on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and the commemoration of the 10th of Ramadan victory, affirming the pride of all Egyptians in the heroism of their remarkable armed forces.

President of Assiut University Inaugurates Student Forum on Disability in line with the International Academic Ranking of Universities

Assiut University Organizes Forum on Persons with Disabilities in Support of International Academic Rankings and to Promote Community Inclusion

Assiut University organized an extensive forum titled “Students with Disabilities in Light of the International Academic Ranking of Universities” under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University. The event was held in the presence of Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, along with a number of vice presidents of the university, representatives of governmental institutions, and civil society organizations.

In his opening remarks, Professor El-Minshawy emphasized that the forum serves as a key platform for discussing ways to improve services provided to students with disabilities. He highlighted the university’s continuous efforts to develop a disability-friendly infrastructure and to provide academic and financial support, including exemptions from tuition fees and university housing expenses.

For his part, the Governor of Assiut affirmed the commitment of the governorate to fully support persons with disabilities through various initiatives such as exempting them from education fees and access fees to youth centers and cultural facilities. He also pointed to the allocation of scholarships and training opportunities in collaboration with civil society institutions, stressing that “the state takes strict measures against any attempts to exploit services designated for them.”

The university’s vice presidents announced the introduction of new postgraduate scholarships for distinguished students with disabilities, in addition to ongoing development of the university’s infrastructure and services to facilitate mobility and enhance academic and social inclusion.

It featured the announcement of the exemption of students with disabilities from tuition fees and university housing charges, in addition to the allocation of two postgraduate scholarships for outstanding students in this category to support their academic journey.

President of Assiut University Congratulates President El-Sisi and the Egyptian People on the Anniversary of Taba’s Restoration, Praises Egyptian Diplomacy and Wise Leadership

Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, extends his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and to the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the restoration of Taba and the raising of the Egyptian flag over its soil on March 19. He described this historic achievement as one of the greatest diplomatic victories in modern Egyptian history.

Professor El-Minshawy affirmed that the restoration of Taba stands as a testament to the strength of Egyptian diplomacy and the steadfastness of the Egyptian negotiator in defending the nation’s sovereignty and reclaiming every inch of its land through justice and the rule of law.

He also praised the wisdom of the current political leadership, under President El-Sisi, which continues to safeguard Egypt’s rights and reinforce its regional and international standing, inspired by the spirit of determination embodied in the Taba experience.
