Is an aromatic evergreen shrub with leaves similar to hemlock needles. The plant flowers in spring and summer in temperate climates, but the plants can be in constant bloom in warm climates; flowers are white, pink, purple or deep blue. Rosemary also has a tendency to flower outside its normal flowering season; it has been known to flower as late as early December, and as early as mid-February (in the northern hemisphere).
It is native to the Mediterranean and Asia, but is reasonably hardy in cool climates.

Spearmint is a perennial herbaceous plant. It is 30–100 cm tall. The leaves are 5–9 cm long and 1.5–3 cm broad, with a serrated margin. The stem is square-shaped, a defining characteristic of the mint family of herbs. each flower pink or white in colour, 2.5–3 mm long and broad.  

It is native to  Europe and southern temperate Asia, extending from Ireland in the west to southern China in the east.

The fruit is 2 cm broad, three-segmented, each segment with a single large seed 1–1.5 cm long. 
It is native to Andes from Bolivia north to Colombia
