The Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology (IAET) has the pleasure to organize the 1st Aviation Engineering Innovations Conference; March 21-22, 2015 Luxor Egypt. The conference will help getting involved in aviation related topics and looking into aviation business from a wider perspective. The Academy of Scientific Research and Technologyhas signed a memorandum of understanding with Future University in Sudan.Both institutions agree to the development of joint activities in higher education and scientific research and  the academy also agreed to delegate egyptian scientists for the future university for long and short period. 

Assiut University decided that air conditioners will not be used in amphitheatres, classes or laboratories during summer holidays to reduce energy consumption and avoid fires. Anyone who violates these rules will be punished.

The Supreme Council of Universities decided that special units in egyptian universities will offer trianing certificates only due to the existence of some fraud caompanies that take advantages of the names of the universities illegally and claiming that they offer  accredited  academic certificates for their training courses.

The general secretary of assiut governorate sent a fax on the 13th of July 2014 to the faculty of engineering asking them to form a committee of the faculty staff to prepare a detailed report about the futuristic needs and requirements to the western plataeu project in assiut. The committe was formed and had a meeting on 6th of August 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the vice dean of community services and environmental development office and under the supervision of the dean of the faculty professor/ Mohammad Abo El-Kasem.
