The Japanese Government is offering acholarships for egyptian students to complete their university studies. The application form is available on the Japanese embassy website. The due date for this scholarship: 22 MAY 2014.

Faculty and leadership development center in assiut university will hold training courses  for the faculty staff during June 2014. Priority on reservation due to the limited number of trainees (20).Trainees who attend 6  programs or more will not be nominated.If any member wants to cancel his course he must inform the center before the begining of the course by 72 hours at least.

Bibliotheca Alexandria ended its series of  orientation seminars to inform people with the services presented by the scientific support and projects section  to help researchers raise the world rank of egyptian universities and institutions. Bibliotheca Alexandria participated in this plan by holding an egyptian competition to support five research papers to be published monthly in international periodicals and journals.  

Ministry of Health and Population sent to Assiut university some precautions to help protecting people from epidemic diseases and also international vaccination centers all over egypt.  

The faculty staff club is organizing a trip to hurghada to Seagull from 9-8-2014 to 12-8-2014 (4 days - 3 nights). Travelling from Assiut to Hurghada will be by using assiut air conditioned universisty bus.The number of participants is limited to 45 person.The reservation will be opened on Tuesday 20-5-2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.For more information about fees and conditions, read the following announcement:

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will hold a workshop in cooperation with Assiut university  in the discussion hall in the adminstration building during (18-19-20) May 2014 at 9:00 a.m.For Contact: magdaali70@yahoo.com.

The dean of the faculty of engineering recieved a letter from the office of president of assiut university informing him that all employees; permanent or temporary, will be given a holiday for a week from 24-5-2014 to 29-5-2014. Any employee who will come due to urgent need will be given his holiday later. This holiday will not affect the salary and the bonus of ant employee.

 The faculty and leadership development center sent its  application form for the faculty members training courses to the faculty departments to attend courses in the centre.
