The Chairman of Health and Population Commitee in Egypt's Senate, Dr. Ali Mahran, paid a visit to the Dental Hospital in the Faculty of Dentistry on Wednesday 22-2-2023, and he was received by prof/ Heba Rashed, vice dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, prof/ Muhammad Nahed, head of Assiut University dental hospital, and Mr. Montaser Hussein, moderator of the faculty.

Dr. Mahran inspected the clinics, oral radiology department, oral surgery unit, the digital lab, the simulation lab, the research lab, and the hospital inventory of the hospital. He also praised the therapeutic service provided to patients in light of the large increase in the number of patients and the demand for hospital clinics in all dental specialties. 
In addition, he praised the general discipline of all hospital workers, infection control procedures, capabilities and readiness of the University Dental Hospital, and he promised to assist this edifice in solving any matters related to preserving the gains during the previous period.

The faculty of dentistry committee held its 11th meeting on Zoom on Wednesday 22-2-2023. The attendees were prof/ Muhammad Abd El-Maguid Katamish, dean of the faculty, prof/Naglaa El-Meligy, vice dean for education and student affairs, prof/ Heba Rashed, vice dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, prof/ Muhammad Nahed, head of Assiut University dental hospital, and head departments to discuss some issues related to the faculty.

The cultural committee in the youth welfare office will organize a religious contest entitled, “My Religion is My life” on Monday 6-3-2023 starting from 11 a.m. The competition is divided into two parts:

Part 1 is about (memorizing the whole Quran – memorizing half of the Quran – memorizing the 4o Hadith of Al-Imam An-Nawawi).

Part 2 is about choosing the best voice in (Inshad – reciting the holy Quran -Adhan).

Due to some sound system issues, First Aid lecture for third year students will be delivered on Wednesday 22-2-2023 from 10 to 12 at lecture hall 2. While Fixed Prosthodontics lecture for 4^th year students will be delivered in lecture hall 3 at the same time.

The fixed Prosthetic Lab held a two-day-workshop on Sunday 19-2-2023 and Monday 20-2-2023 in the dental hospitals to enhance the skills of the staff and their assistants. The workshop was delivered by:
