Invitation for the nomination of the Prince Mahidol Award 2023

The Egyptian embassy in Bangkok, Thailand has received an invitation to nominate individual (s) or institution(s) for their outstanding performance and/or research in medicine and public health that contributes directly to the betterment of society for the Prince Mahidol Award 2023.

Two Prince Mahidol Awards will be conferred on an annual basis, one in medicine and one in public health, each prize consists of a medal and $US 100,000.

Bani Ady Maritime School Visit to Faculty of Dentistry

Bani Ady maritime school paid a visit to the faculty of dentistry on Monday 6-3-2023 where they visited the clinics, simulation and research labs, and the lecture halls. By the end of their visit, prof/ Heba Rashed, vice dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, prof/ Muhammad Nahed, head of Assiut University dental hospital, Dr. Zein Shatat, lecturer of oral radiology department, and Dr. Mostafa Muhammad Sayed, Assistant lecturer in Pediatric Dentistry, held a meeting with the students to answer their questions about dental issues.

Topics of Biochemistry Performance-Based Assessment for 2nd Year Students

The biochemistry department has set the topics of its Performance-based assessment for 2nd year students that will be held on Thursday 16-3-2023 at 10 p.m. at the labs of the department.

The chosen topics are as follows:

Due to the unsatisfactory student attendance complaint received from the dermatology department in the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Dentistry is urgently asking 3rd year students to attend their dermatology lectures.000
