البيانو عصره الذهبي في الموسيقى، ومن أولئك الذين اهتموا بتقنيات الآلة المؤلف الفرنسي هنري بيرتيني (1798 – 1876) Henry Bertini الذي ألف المسابقات خصيصاً لمعهد كونسيرفاتوار باريس تحت مسمى  (Solo de Concours) ولأهمية ما تشتمل عليه هذه المسابقات من تقنيات ومهارات عالية، لذا هدفت الباحثة إلى إلقاء الضوء على حياة المؤلف الفرنسي هنري بيرتيني، وإلى إحياء تراث مؤلفات آلة البيانو من خلال إجراء دراسة وصفية لأبرز التقنيات العزفية التي وردت في مسابقة العزف المنفرد للبيانو مصنف 109 عند هنري بيرتيني، واتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي (تحليل المحتوى)، وتكونت العينة من مسابقة البيانو مصنف (109)، واستطاعت الباحثة الإجابة على تساؤلات البحث.واختتم البحث بالملاحق، ومستخلص البحث باللغتين العربية والأجنبية.
