The Faculty of Pharmacy at Assiut University mourns the passing of Professor Dr. MaKbol Ahmed MaKbol, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy and former Vice Dean of the Faculty, and the husband of Professor Dr. Afaf Mohamed Abdel-Baki, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy. May the deceased rest in peace and find forgiveness, and may the family receive our heartfelt condolences. Verily, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, Sunday, following the Dhuhr prayer at the University Hospital Mosque in Assiut.
The practical exam for the Medicinal Plants course will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, immediately following the theoretical exam, at 11:00 AM.
The exam will take place in the fourth-floor lecture hall, Department of Pharmacognosy.

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Fayoum University is organizing its first Student Leadership Camp titled "SLC – Camp Leadership Students." The camp will take place from September 2 to September 4, 2024, at the Noriaas Hotel on the shores of Lake Qarun. This event is organized in collaboration with the Leadership Preparation Institute of the Ministry of Higher Education and in partnership with the Fayoum Pharmacists Syndicate.
