• The preparations for the accreditation renewal visit from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education are at the top of the priorities of the meeting of Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah,

Dean of the College, with the unit heads and the advisor of the Quality Assurance Unit at the college.

Today, Mr. Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah, Dean of the College, met with the Directors of the Academic Units in the College, in the presence of Mr. Professor Dr. Director of the Quality Assurance Unit and Mrs. Professor Dr. Advisor to the Quality Assurance Unit at the College for preparations and full preparation to receive the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education of the National Authority for Quality Assurance in Education to renew the college’s accreditation and prepare the files. for each unit, ensuring its efficiency, and working to improve its work system.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah, Dean of the College, inaugurated today the five-a-side football league for students of the College of Nursing and students of the Technical Institute of Nursing, in the presence of Professor Dr. Fatima Rushdi Muhammad. The college’s dean for education and student affairs, Mr. Dr. Mervat Ali Khamis, the college’s dean for community service and environmental development affairs, Mr. Dr. Nahid Shawkat Abu Al-Majd, sports activity advisor, and Ms. Iman Ghadeer Mustafa, director of administration. Youth Welfare, Mr. Mahmoud Ahmed Mohamed, Sports Activity Supervisor, Ms. Asmaa El-Sayed, Sports Activity Supervisor, student Karim Ayman Refaat, Secretary of the Sports Committee, student Mohamed Ahmed Abdel-Al, Assistant Secretary of the Committee, and members of the Federation Council.

Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah, Dean of the College, announced the start of the football league under the slogan “A healthy mind in a healthy body,” indicating that the league will consist of 32 teams, 24 teams for students of the College of Nursing and 6 teams for students of the Technical Institute of Nursing, and that the activities of the league will extend throughout the week, indicating the importance of sports and participation. It encourages students to engage in positive work, develops enthusiasm and courage in them, works to create a spirit of cooperation and love among students, and releases their energy in a positive and fruitful way.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Samir Shehata Mohamed, Head of the Oncology Department, Assiut University. Within the framework of the college’s pioneering role in community participation and consolidating communication between groups of society. Civil and university, and under the leadership of Professor Dr. Samah Muhammad Abdullah, Dean of the College, and in the presence of the College Vice Deans and representatives of the faculty members of the College of Nursing and faculty members of the Oncology Department, the College hosted today a campaign for early detection of breast tumors. In the presence of Dr. Heba Bakri, the campaign coordinator, where a representative from the College of Nursing held a health education seminar for the attendees, which was represented by the employees (Faculty of Nursing, the Technical Institute of Nursing, and the University City for Female Students), where the campaign resulted in the examination of more than 45 women in the college’s medical clinic, 10 of whom were referred to University Hospital to carefully examine them, perform a mammogram at the University Hospital, and follow up on the cases.

Tomorrow, God willing, Monday, corresponding to September 23, 2023, at the Faculty of Nursing, Assiut University (at the medical clinic), in a convoy within the campaign for early detection of tumors (breast) under the slogan (Rest assured, we are with you). For 30 years, A.H.T from the Oncology Department has been participating in the campaign.

For early screening for breast cancer for females older than 30 years old or older than 18 years old and who have a history of the disease in the maternal family, sister, aunt or aunt.
