Announcement of the Erasmus+ KA171 grant for faculty mobility (for teaching) between Assiut University and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Romania

The Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs announces the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 grant program for faculty mobility (teaching) between Assiut University and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Romania. The application period will be five consecutive working days, from February 16 to May 31, 2026.

Anyone interested in applying for the grant should contact the Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs and bring the following documents:
1. A curriculum vitae.
2. A copy of your passport.
3. A statement of status certified by your university.
4. A teaching transfer agreement signed by the faculty member and their home university (the form is available       at the Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs).
5. A letter of approval for the processing of personal data signed by the faculty member (the form is available at        the Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs).
6. Applicants must have at least a B2 level of English.

Please note that the colleges eligible for application are:
1) Faculty of Law.
2) Faculty of Science.
3) Faculty of Social Work.
4) Faculty of Physical Education.

• Please note that priority is given to those who have not previously received Erasmus scholarships, especially from the same university mentioned above. The deadline for submitting applications to the office is September 30, 2025, so that applications can be sent to the university by the specified date.

Announcement of Indian Scholarships for PhD in Agriculture and Related Sciences to study in Indian Agricultural Universities (AUs) under ICAR-AUs Scheme

The Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs announces the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites Egyptian researchers to apply for the Netaji Subhas – ICAR International Fellowships (NS-ICAR-IFs).
The Indian NS-ICAR-IFs are available for PhD studies in agriculture and related sciences at Indian agricultural universities (AUs) under the ICAR-AU system. The duration of the fellowship is three years.

Eligibility:

  • A Master's degree in agriculture or related sciences with a GPA of 6.60 or 65% marks or its equivalent is required for admission to the NS-ICARIFs program.
  • New candidates must not be more than 35 years old by the application deadline, and the maximum age for in-service candidates is 40 years by the application deadline.
  • New candidates must have completed their qualifying degree at least two years prior to the date specified in the year of admission.

How to Apply:

  • The candidate must submit an application for the fellowship online via email to: adg.hrd.applications@gmail.com.
  • The applicant must provide two references, along with their email addresses, to support their application. The Council may contact them directly for feedback in the prescribed format. One of the references should preferably be their current supervisor (if employed), an expert in the field, and well-versed in the candidate's work.
  • Applicants for the ICAR-IF program must have been admitted, at their respective level, to doctoral programs with a specific field of study at selected Indian universities. For overseas applicants, these acceptance letters should be attached to the fellowship application.
