International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces that UNESCO institution declared the beginning of submission in the L'Oréal-UNESCO program" For Women in Science", that targets distinguished Egyptian women researchers in science for the year 2024, in order to promote and support the woman role in life and physical sciences, L'Oréal-UNESCO program seeks to Honoring young female researchers who demonstrate outstanding potential in the fields of life sciences and physical sciences.
L'Oréal-UNESCO program presents three scholarships for three distinguished Egyptian women researchers as follows;
- Two scholarships for Egyptian women researchers who execute postdoctoral research at a research laboratory, institute or University in Egypt. 
- One scholarship for Egyptian women researcher who pursue her PhD studies at a research laboratory, institute or University in Egypt. 
The conditions of submission:
1) Applicants should be Egyptian.
2) Applicants should be working in research laboratory, institute or University in Egypt.
3) Applicant's age should be no more than 45 years for post-doctoral researchers and 35 years for doctoral students.
4) Applicants should reveal their special academic achievements and Committed to promote scientific knowledge.

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces that "The Arab Universities Union"  has opened the nomination  for the best master's thesis award and the best doctoral thesis award for the year 2024

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces that "The Arab Universities Union"  has opened the nomination for the best master's thesis award and the best doctoral thesis award for the year 2024 in the field of basic and applied sciences on the following topics ( the use of modern digital technology to achieve sustainable development goals in the field of green economy) and in the field of humanities and social sciences on the following subjects (mental health and its impact on Arab society).
The conditions for the award are:
1) The University nominates only one of the above fields, from the thesis discussed in the University for academic years: (2021, 2022 and 2023).  
2) The nominated thesis should be obtained from the home University for the candidate.
3) The thesis should be creative and innovative.
4) The thesis should contribute in solving the problems of Arab community.
5) The thesis should have been published in international scientific journal, and it should have obtained a patent in the fields of( basic and applied sciences, medical sciences, engineering and technology sciences, agricultural sciences, and should have the evidence for this).
6) The University should send the nominated  thesis electronically, and the summary of the thesis don't exceed more than 20 lines in Arabic(for those whose thesis in foreign language), in addition to C.V and a photo for the researcher.
Prof. Gamal Gamal Badr, the Manager and General Coordinator of "International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office"as well as Dr/Asmaa Gaber Mahran, the Assistant Coordinator of  the "Arab Universities Affairs sector" have confirmed that; the awards presented are;
Distinguished thesis Award in PhD Program.
First place: 4000$.
Second place: 2500$.

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces beginning of submission to the grants that are offered by the French embassy in Egypt that aims post-graduates students for academic year 2024/2025 and they are as follows;

1.Tahtawi Scholarship for Master's Students
Tahtawi Scholarship is announced annually by the French Embassy in Egypt and is aimed at Egyptian students enrolled in the second year of master's degree and wishing to pursue their studies at a higher education institution in France for the academic year 2024/2025.

The conditions of submission:
1. Applicants should be Egyptian.
2. Applicants should be fluent in English or French.
3. The applicant should have submitted his papers to a French higher education institution in France to complete the second year of his master's degree.
4. Candidates should submit a certificate to state their level of English or French.
The privileges that offered by Tahtawi Scholarship:
- The grant offers monthly salary of EUR 860 during the study period up to a maximum of 10 months including the training period.
- Exemption from administrative registration fees provided and the study should be in a French governmental educational institution only and up to a maximum of "5000 euros".
- The grant helps the scholarship holder search for the University accommodation reservation.
- The grant bears social security and health insurance.

 2-Doctoral Scholarships
Doctoral Scholarship is announced annually by the French Embassy in Egypt, it aims to support the mobility of Egyptian doctoral students and young researchers wishing to complete their studies in France whether they are studying at Egyptian public or private Universities.
The period of each grant is 12 months at maximum from three years of PhD period, and it can be divided into 6 months per year. This grant offers the possibility to complete a joint study under double supervision, which means enrolling as PhD students in both Egypt and France with the aim to obtain a dual PhD.
The privileges that offered by Doctoral Scholarship:
- The grant will bear the transportation fees.
- The grant will bear social insurance.
- The grant will bear living fees in France.

3."Hubert CURIEN IMHOTEP" partnership that offers research projects for the year 2025 .
Hubert CURIEN IMHOTEP is a French - Egyptian program that supports the researcher's mobility. It is implemented in Egypt through the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in France by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs (MEAE), Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces the acceptance of research proposals for the year 2025/2026 and all scientific fields are eligible to participate in this program, but priority will be for projects dealing with the following areas: -
- Health (cancer - diabetes - hepatitis C).
- Space science.
- Environment (renewable and non-renewable sources of energy and water).

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces beginning of submission in the grants that presented by "International Atomic Energy Agency", Marie Skłodowska Korean program is a fellowship program of that aims to help to increase the number of   women in the nuclear field and supporting the workforce of men and women who contribute and lead the global scientific and technological innovation.
The program, called with the name of leading physicist (Marie Sklodowska), aims to inspire and encourage young women to pursue a career in the nuclear field by offering scholarships at the master's level to excited students along with the opportunity to pursue a training period provided by International Atomic Energy Agency.
The conditions of submission:
- Applicants should be women.
- Applicant should be accepted and has resided in a university accredited to the master's program in a nuclear-related field.
- The most acceptable applicants are who have higher than average academic credentials (75% or higher).
The advantages of Marie Sklodowska's program (MSCFP):
- Female students selected will be awarded up to Euro 200, 000 for education costs and up to Euro 200, 000 for living costs for their master's program.
- After the end of their studies, students will also have the opportunity to receive internships provided by International Atomic Energy Agency "IAEA" for up to 12 months.
- Internship work for students will be at International Atomic Energy Agency "IAEA" or with one of its external partners in the public and private sectors.
- Students selected have the opportunities to attend and participate in various educational and professional events.

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office, in cooperation with German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) announces beginning of submission in various calls for the grants that presented by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) that aims at doctoral and post-doctoral students to follow their special research in one of higher education institutions or non-university research institutes that internationally recognized.
Available funding opportunities such as;

- Research grants for doctoral programs in Germany:
This program provides an opportunity for doctoral students to carry out their research in Germany and obtain a doctoral degree from a German University. The grant period is for one year that can be extended for four years according to the selection committee decision.
Through the grant program of "the German Academic Exchange Service, doctoral students can obtain a double doctoral degree from their "original University" and "the German University" where they will complete their research study,  the funding will be from 7 months to 24 months at the maximum.
- There are two options for the doctoral grants:
The first option: is doctoral degree under the supervision of dual nationality, where the approval of the grant will be for 12 months at first, and cannot be extended as the selection committee decided the end of the specific period of the grant successfully.
The second option: is doctoral degree in a dual-degree way (Cotutelle), where the approval of the grant will be for up to 18 months to the PhD student, and can be extended for an additional 6 months.

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces the beginning of submission in "Eugene  UNESCO" scholarship for the year 2024-2025 that is funded by the Romanian Government in coordination with "the University Agency of La Francophonie", this grant targeting doctoral and postdoctoral students from around the world. 
The advantages of the grant:
1. The grant covers the costs of air tickets to and from Egypt to Romania and vice versa.
2. The grant will cover all accommodation costs through the duration of study.
3. The grant presents 1000 euros, calculated according to the period of mobility.
The conditions of submission in doctoral and post-doctoral programs.
1. The applicant should be fluent in French at least (level B2).
2. The applicant should not previously have benefited from doctoral and post-doctoral scholarship provided by "the University Agency of la Francophonie".

This scholarship targeting post-graduates students who want to complete their master and doctoral degrees in Japan.  
"MEXT" scholarship is one of the most powerful fully funded scholarships worldwide and is monitored by University students every year.
The advantages of the grant:

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces beginning of submission in the American Institutes Study Program (SUSIs) for scholars that presented by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, this program aims to provide an opportunity for faculty and researchers at foreign Universities to deepen their understanding of American society, culture, values and institutions. 
American Institute of Researchers programs will be held for five to six weeks during summer 2025 at various colleges, universities and academic institutions in the "United States of America", the program includes a four-week academic stay within the Institute, followed by a one-week integrated study tour in "the United States of America".
 Eligibility criteria:
1. Applicants should be in the mid –career and their ages between 30-50 years during the submission.
2. Applicants should be highly motivated, experienced and professionals from   research organization and high education institutions.
3. Applicants should come from institutions seek to introduce aspects of U.S.  studies into their curricula, enhance and update existing courses on the U.S. or offer seminars and workshops specialized for professionals.

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces the beginning of submission in the American Institutes Study Program (SUSIs) for students leaders that presented by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, this program aims students studying at general or particular Universities.
The American Institutes Study Program (SUSIs) for students; is an intensive academic program that continue from five to six weeks and is specialized for leaders of foreign undergraduate students, It aims to develop the understanding of University students of "the United States of America", while enhancing their leadership skills. 
The program includes a four-week academic stay that includes interactive activities, discussions, seminars, readings and group performances, as well as well as educational lectures at the expense of the U.S. Embassy.
The program topics for year 2025:
1. Economic Empowerment.
2. Religious Diversity and Democracy.
3. Young Women Leaders Program on Civic Engagement.
Eligibility criteria:
1- Applicants' age should be between 18 years and 25 years during the submission.

International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs Office announces beginning of submission in the American scholarship presented by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, this program aims students studying at general or particular Universities, for the year 2024/2025 under the title (Global Undergraduate Exchange Program-Global UGRAD).
The Global UGRAD program offers a scholarship for one semester at an American college or University, giving students an opportunity to integrate into American society, culture and academic institutions and enhancing their professional skills. 
 The Participants will be enrolled in University courses from the host institution's curriculum, and will be required to study an accredited course to enhance their knowledge of the United States, as well as their accommodation will be in the University housing with American students and they will participate in 20 hours of community service.
The conditions of submission:
1- Applicants should be an Egyptian citizen.
2- Applicants should be studying at one of the Egyptian Universities.
3- Applicants' age should be at least 18 years during submission.
4- Applicants should be fluent in English.
5- Applicants should have completed at least one semester at the university by January 2025.
6- Applicants should have at least one year remaining at the end of the program.  
7- Applicants should have completed their secondary study in their country.
8- Applicants should be enrolled in full-time bachelor's programs only, having completed at least one semester at any public or private recognized university.
