Announcing the introductory session for the InnoHub project to support innovation and entrepreneurship

The Office of International Relations and Arab University Affairs, in coordination with the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Assiut University, invites you to attend the InnoHub project introductory session, scheduled for Monday, December 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, in the main hall of the administration building at Assiut University.

This project is being developed and implemented by the Center for Social Impact Entrepreneurship at Heliopolis University, with support from the Drosos Foundation, as part of efforts to promote innovation and achieve sustainable development in Egypt.

The project aims to empower young innovators, researchers, and emerging entrepreneurs, up to the age of 35, to transform their scientific research findings and creative ideas into practical and sustainable solutions capable of generating tangible social, environmental, and economic impact.

The project focuses specifically on the pressing challenges related to the agriculture, water, renewable energy, environment, and climate change sectors, as key pillars for achieving a more sustainable future. The invitation is extended to university students (undergraduate and graduate), as well as alumni, faculty members, and researchers under 35 years of age, to attend and participate in an information session about the project incubator registration process and the opportunity to win a competition and receive a grant of up to $5,000.

Announcing the students who won the Erasmus+KA171 student mobility scholarship to study at Kastamonu University in Turkey

The Office of International Relations and Arab Universities, in cooperation with the Education and Student Affairs and Postgraduate Studies sectors at Assiut University, announces that a number of students and graduates have been awarded the Erasmus+KA171 student mobility scholarship to study at Kastamonu University in Turkey. This announcement was made on the office's official website on December 7, 2025, and is based on the selection process by Kastamonu University.

The results are as follows:

• Student: Shahd Hesham Abdel Rahman, fourth-year student in the Department of Zoology and Entomology, Faculty of Science, Assiut University (Primary Candidate).

• Student: Zeinab Ali Mahmoud, fourth-year student in the Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Education, Assiut University (Reserve Candidate).

• Mr. Ibrahim Mustafa Thabet, Teaching Assistant in the Pharmacology Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assiut University (Reserve Candidate)

Professor Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research and General Coordinator of the Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs, along with the staff of the Office of International Relations and Arab Universities Affairs, extend their gratitude to His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, for facilitating the application process for these scholarships and removing all obstacles facing undergraduate and graduate students.
