Faculty members who want to deliver their research papers to (STDF) Science and Technology Development Fund can email them to grants@asrt.sci.eg. The deadline to Apply for STDF funding projects will be on Tuesday 10/3/2015.

The ITUnit of the faculty of engineering will hold a  basic track training course for the employees. For more information about the schedule of the training, please read the announcement.

Assiut University in cooperation with German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will hold a workshop on Sunday 15-2-2015  in the administration building  hall no. (24 d) from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m to introduce its grants. 

The faculty of arts will hold ElPT course which is required for postgraduate studies instead of TOFEL.The course will start on Saturday 13-3-2015 after the orientation that will be held in the conference hall in the faculty of arts from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.The exam will be after the end of the course. Reservation will be in the administration building with Mrs Hala in the research office.

On the occasion of the closing event of the "German-Egyptian Year of Science and Technology 2007" in Berlin, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Egyptian Ministry of Scientific Research (MoSR) agreed to establish a German-Egyptian Research Fund (GERF) for the support of joint application-oriented research projects. for more information click here.

Terms of conditions: 1- The applicant must be Egyptian. 2- The applicant must have obtained  a master or a PhD degree in the same field of the award within the past two years. 3- Researches should have been done in Egypt.

The faculty of engineering in cooperation with the Information Technolgy Institute (ITI) will hold an intriductory lecture about cloud computing under the supervision of Professor/ Hany Selim from electrical engineering department.This lecture aims at exposing the cloud computing abilities and the free offers in the Information Technolgy Institute (ITI).The lecture will be held on Monday 23/3/2015 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m in the computing hall on the third floor assiut unversity network.For participation , please send ACCEPT to   hselim411@yahoo.com as attendance is limited.
