On Wednesday, 2/26/2025, the conference and discussion hall at the College of Education was inaugurated, which entered service starting today. This hall comes to be a focal point in enhancing academic and educational activity within the college, as it will be allocated to host conferences and discussions. The hall will host many scientific activities and academic seminars that aim to raise the level of scientific research and exchange experiences between professors, researchers and students. Congratulations to Assiut University

Dr. El-Minshawy congratulates the university students on winning the title of "University Geniuses" for the seventh season for the second year in a row

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, congratulated the university students on the occasion of their achievement of the title of the "University Geniuses" Championship for the seventh season, stressing his pride and appreciation for their distinguished achievement that reflects their scientific and cultural excellence, wishing them continued success and excellence in upcoming competitions.

Dr. El-Minshawy praised the efforts of the students and the supervisory body who contributed to preparing the team, noting that this achievement enhances the position of Assiut University among Egyptian universities, and indicates the excellence of its students in various fields. He also stressed the university's keenness to support student activities and scientific competitions that contribute to developing students' skills and refining their talents.

Assiut University won the "University Geniuses" competition cup for the seventh season after achieving the highest scores, as the university's student team was able to win the final match against Mansoura University with a score of 145 - 75. The match witnessed strong competition through which Assiut University students were able to win the title for the second season in a row.

The participation of Assiut University students came under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, General Director of Student Care Administration, Mr. Hashem Sayed Mohamed, Director of Cultural Activity Administration and General Supervisor of the Delegation, and Dr. Yasser Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.

The Assiut University team consisted of 10 students from various faculties of the university: Abdel Rahman Mahmoud El-Badry (Faculty of Medicine), Mohamed Abu El-Qasim Mohamed (Faculty of Medicine), Claudia Atef Fayez (Faculty of Medicine), Marwa Mahmoud Farghaly (Faculty of Sugar Technology), Karen Ayman (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), Sylvia Osama (Faculty of Computers and Information), Mina Fawzy Shehdi (Faculty of Fine Arts), Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Selim (Faculty of Commerce E), Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Ali (Faculty of Sugar Industry Technology), Nesma Mustafa Khalifa (Faculty of Fine Arts).
