Assiut University held the closing ceremony of the 11th International Conference on Development and Environment in the Arab World, which was organized by the University from February 20 to 22 under the auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Environment and Scientific Research, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Major General Essam Saad Governor of Assiut, and Dr. Tarek Jamal, President of the University.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, President of the Conference, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al Manshawi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Affairs and Research, Dr. Ahmed Jamal Rashid, Professor of Architecture and Planning, Director of Farouk Al Baz Center for Sustainability and Future Studies at the British University in Egypt, Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies and Research, And Secretary General of the Conference, and Dr. Mohammed Abu Al Qasim Rapporteur The conference and a group of faculty members and staff from various sectors and colleges of the university.
During the ceremony, the results of the Environmental Excellence Cup competition for the academic year 2021/2022 were announced, and he won the Environmental Tanis Shield on the infrastructure hub of the Faculty of Arts, and received the award Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

With the 11th edition of the Conference on Environment and Development in the Arab World at Assiut University, which this year is honored by the Supreme Council for Environmental Affairs and a group of arab world scientists, the Faculty of Arts participated in the third session of the conference entitled Environment and its relationship to media and arts headed by Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Wajdi Nakhla, Dean of Quality Education, Dr. Mansour Al-Mansi, Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Dr. Amima Omran, Professor of Media at the Faculty of Arts at the University, The sessions dealt with a number of distinguished research and papers, including traditional architecture in Libya: The Oasis of The Anmoja Ogla (By Dr. Magdi Alwan), the role of the media in documenting initiatives to revive The Egyptian Heritage (Heritage Revival Committee of Assiut University model), (Dr. Yemeni Atef) Dr. Hind Hassanein, as well as employing marketing public relations strategies in the web pages of service institutions, Professor Noura Okasha, and social responsibility for environmental electronic media in achieving sustainable development (Vision Egypt 2030), Dr. Rehab Internal, Design  Digital as a creative influence in remote university education, and Anjuntaria Ptolemy from the Museum of the School of Peace in Assiut.
The session was attended by a number of faculty members of the University and participating gentlemen from Arab countries, led by Professor Dr. Sameh al-Banna, Head of The Department of Antiquities. Professor Dr. Nasser Hashem, Professor of Philosophy at the College, Professor Dr. Ammar Ahmed Head of the Department of Hebrew Language, Professor Dr. Khaled Badra Professor in the Department of Geography, Professor Dr. Essam Adel Professor in the Department of Geography, Dr. Mohammed Khalil Assistant Teacher in the Department of Media, Professor Sahar Mohammed Amin faculty of Arts.

Assiut University witnessed the closing ceremony of the 11th International Conference for Development and Environment in the Arab World under the auspices of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Environment and Scientific Research, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Major General Essam Saad Governor of Assiut, Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of the University and in the presence of Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, President of the Conference, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs. Dr. Ahmed Jamal Rashid, Professor of Architecture and Planning and Director of the Farouk Al Baz Center for Sustainability and Future Studies at the British University in Egypt, Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies and Research and Secretary General of the Conference, Dr. Mohammed Abu Al Qasim, Conference Rapporteur and a group of faculty members and staff from various sectors and colleges of the University.
During the ceremony, a number of committees were honored with effective and distinguished activity at the university, most notably the Heritage Revival Committee at Assiut University, which is chaired by His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by a number of members of the committee, led by Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, as well as Professor Dr. Wajdi Nakhla, Dean of the Faculty of Quality Education, Professor Dr. Tayseer Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Hafnawi, Engineering Advisor to the University President, Professor Dr. Sameh Al Banna. Head of the Department of Antiquities, Dr. Yamina Mohammed Atef, Radio Teacher, Media Department, Dr. Hind Hassanein, Teacher of Electronic Journalism and Media Coordinator of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Heba Hijazi of the Tourism Promotion Authority.
