Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, Professor Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Professor Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, was celebrated today with the launch of the initiative "You are not alone" aimed at raising awareness and psychological and moral support for university students, which is witnessing the cooperation of the department of psychology at the Faculty of Literature and a family of students for Egypt, led by the initiators of both Dr. Doaa Farouk al-Mudarres in the department of psychology At the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Sarah Al-Talawi is a teacher in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of the University, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, General Supervisor of Student Activities and General Coordinator of the Student Family for Egypt, Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Magdi Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Assistant Coordinator of the Student Family for Egypt, Member of the High Committee for Student Activities, Brigadier General Sameh Kamal on National Security, and Mr. Shaukat Saber, Secretary General of the University, and Dr. Assem Qubisi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Assiut Governorate, a group of deans of colleges and faculty members in various disciplines, in addition to the presence of a group of executive and popular leaders, clerics and media.
The celebration began with opening speeches by Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of the University, Dr. Shehata Ghraib and Dr. Magdi Alwan, and then Dr. Doaa Farouk and Dr. Sarah Al-Talawi continued to explain the objectives of the initiative and its efforts in changing the mental image of mental patients and overcoming their fears in seeking psychological assistance, as well as raising awareness and introducing the nature of mental illness and prevention of infection, as well as allowing students to participate effectively and talk to people who have been able to overcome and They have recovered from mental illness and provided psychological assistance to people who are unable to solve and face problems, challenges, life pressures and mental disorders by creating a Facebook page under the supervision of specialized professors.

The Faculty of Arts today organized a religious and educational seminar on the virtue of Rajab and Shaaban in the framework of correcting concepts and spreading moderate centrist thought, in the hall of Professor Dr. Ezzat Abdullah.
The seminar was attended by Dr. Osama Awad Abdullah al-Imam in the Directorate of Assiut Endowments, and the seminar included a recitation of the imam's statements and a collection of religious songs brilliantly from the student badir Ahmed Mustafa.

Important announcement for college students on literacy and adult education

In accordance with the protocol signed between Assiut University and the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, and in accordance with the decision of the University Council, each student of the Faculty of Arts is obliged to erase the illiteracy of a minimum number of (2) students during the school years as a condition for graduation.

Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, stressed Egypt's interest in applying the concept of government electronic transactions and digital transformation in the framework of achieving sustainable development and Egypt's vision 2030, noting the university administration's keenness to adopt this trend and strengthen it by all available means and means.
This came through the launch of the seminar "Managing your government transactions on digital Egypt at any time and from any place" organized by the community service and environmental development sector in the Faculty of Arts in cooperation with the Department of Libraries, Documents and Information at the College under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Al-Jamal, President of Assiut University, Dr. Magdi Abdul Jawad Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Muti, Undersecretary of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ahmed Faraj Ahmed Head of the Department of Libraries, Documents and Information, Dr. Abdul Muti. Hamid Nada is an associate professor of documents and archives at Assiut University, as well as deans of colleges at the university and a group of faculty members and students from the university.
For its part, Dr. Magdi Abdul Jawad pointed out that the university administration is seeking to adopt educational and awareness seminars and training courses that allow university students the opportunity to exchange experiences and visions and exchange new ideas that keep pace with global developments in light of achieving sustainable development.
The seminar included several topics, including the planning and implementation of Digital Egypt, what are the government transactions on digital Egypt, how to set up an account on digital Egypt, as well as monitoring the Egyptian government's interest in digital transformations in general and in the field of documents and archives in particular.
