E. M. Forster‟s Theory of Fiction (A Post-modernist Critical Reading)

Research Abstract
Forster’s conventionalism is encountered by his Modernism. This article presents Forster's post modernity as well as his critical theory of fiction. Forster explains in his books the real nature of his thematically interrelated characters. The secrets of the characters’ types are anatomized. Aspects of the Novel is one of his books which makes a survey of fiction from Defoe to Joyce. It deals with the novel to draw certain critical conclusions from its varied history using a distinguished critical approach. In the book Forster analyzes the seven aspects of the novel, story, plot, characters, fantasy, prophecy, and pattern.. This paper is interested in presenting Forster as a critical theorist and it concludes that he has a post modern vision of criticism. The current study will introduce a post modern critical reading of his books as a literary theory which is considered a revolution in fiction during the 20th century.

Aspects of Radical Feminism in the Fiction of the 21st Century (A Theoretical Study)

Research Abstract
This study is a theoretical investigation of radical feminism theory. First, the study aims at presenting feminism as a literary critical approach and elaborates through the works of some feminist writers. The patriarchal society and female reality is examined to explain the difference between the world as men have constructed and the reality that is lived, imagined and expressed by women. This explanation will help to generate a critical background to come up to the fictional world of Alice Walker. The idea of radical feminist theory is defined and developed with reference to patriarchal society. Then, the aspects of radical feminism in Walker’s novels are examined as an example of post-modern literary criticism of the 21st century.

Derek Walcott's Omeros as a Postcolonial Symbolism: A Critical Study

Research Abstract
Derek Walcott is a West-Indian poet, dramatist, and a writer who writes mainly in English. His famous poem Omeros is an adaptation of Homer and a creative imaginary journey to his homeland in the Caribbean away from the American Western civilization. Walcott uses poetry to highlight the linguistic precision of the Caribbean people. He describes the deep psychological problems of the colonial period of his native homeland under the western imperialism. This paper focuses on Walcott's racial and cultural clash of identity. Walcott explains that his island has been called ‘‘Helen of the West Indies’’ because of the challenge between England and France to control this territory. This study aims at studying Walcott’s epic poem and his use of symbolism to convey his points of view.

After Criticism, a Call to Rethink Queer Theory

Research Abstract
This article explores the need for rethinking literary theory in general and the queer theory in particular. This paper examines the queer theory and its developmental phases. A historical approach is adapted to trace the changes of this literary theory. Also, the article presents the sociological background of queer theory and its relation to psychology. This research presents the queer of color theory as a contemporary change of this literary theory. The paper in general has employed biographical and historical approaches to trace the changes of queer theory. Queer reading of some classical and modern literary texts is surveyed. For example, Shakespeare’s works are seen from a queer point of view and Harry Potter is analyzed from the same point of view.
