The Faculty of Specific Education at Assiut University, in collaboration with the Governorate of Assiut, is organizing an exhibition for a competition to select the best design for a food sales outlet in the streets and main squares of Assiut Governorate.

Under the patronage of Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Nasr - Governor of Asyut and Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi - President of Asyut University, supervised by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla - Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs and Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahky - Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Asyut, in cooperation with: Mr. Salah Al-Sukari - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Middle East Investment Group, Engineer Mohamed Al-Sukari - Executive Director of the Middle East Investment Group, and Counselor Mohamed Mari - Legal Advisor to the Middle East Investment Group, the Faculty of Specific Education at Asyut University, in collaboration with the Governorate of Asyut, is organizing an exhibition of a competition to select the best design for a grocery store in the streets and main squares of Asyut Governorate on Tuesday, May 6, at 4 PM at the Conference Center in the discussion hall of the administrative building at Asyut University.

Second place went to the teams (KOVA - SOT mart) with a cash prize of 30,000 Egyptian pounds shared between them. Third place went to the teams (Rokn 18 - Navia) with a cash prize of 20,000 Egyptian pounds shared between them. Fourth place went to the team (FORSA) with a cash prize of 10,000 Egyptian pounds. Student Nadi Mahmoud, a third-year student in the Department of Educational Technology, was awarded a cash prize of 5,000 Egyptian pounds for producing a documentary video about the initiative.

Under the patronage of Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Nasr - Governor of Assiut, and Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Manshawi - President of Assiut University, supervised by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla - Vice President of the University for Educational and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky - Dean of the College of Specific Education in Assiut. The exhibition presented distinguished and innovative creative outputs from the students of the College of Specific Education, reflecting the cultural identity of Assiut governorate, with consideration for sustainability and the use of environmentally friendly materials, involving a total of 29 male and female students divided into 7 groups, with each group participating by executing a scale model (mockup), designing a logo for the sales outlet, and presenting a plan that illustrates the design concept. Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky explained that the competition represents a real platform for creativity and an opportunity to showcase modern design models that consider local identity and meet citizens' needs, reflecting the spirit of development and belonging to the homeland. She also noted that the competition aimed to support student projects by providing an organized and attractive work environment that meets cleanliness, safety, and public health requirements, and highlights the spirit of innovation and creativity. The activities of the exhibition included announcing the winning projects, which won the first place.

The aim is to transform ideas into real projects that support the local economy. The exhibition showcased distinctive and innovative creative work by students from the Faculty of Specific Education, reflecting the cultural identity of Assiut Governorate, while considering sustainability and using eco-friendly materials. A total of 29 male and female students participated, divided into 7 groups, where each group created a model (maket), designed a logo for the sales outlet, and presented a plan clarifying the design idea. Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki explained that the competition represents a real platform for creativity and an opportunity to showcase modern design models that respect local identity.
