Assiut University witnesses the graduation ceremony of the (26) batch of the Faculty of Social Service

Dr. Al-Minshawy: The university has a fundamental role in addressing community issues, challenges and concerns of the people

Assiut University witnessed the graduation ceremony of the (26) batch of the Faculty of Social Service, at the Scout Camp grounds, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Alim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Dr. Saoudi Muhammad Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Service, with the participation of Professor Hatem Saleh Muhammad, Secretary-General of the Social Workers Syndicate and Member of the Board of Directors in Assiut;

Assiut University announces, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Alim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the opening of applications for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities and the Fulbright Commission/Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, explained that the "Fulbright Program" aims to develop teachers' professional skills, and to gain direct knowledge of the United States, its culture, and its people, and to develop knowledge of foreign cultures and languages, and to exchange different cultures.

The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program provides opportunities for English language teachers, or specialists at the beginning of their careers in related fields of study; To enhance their educational skills and increase their proficiency in the English language, for one academic year (9 months of academic study) in the United States, and is non-renewable, noting that applications are available until July 11, 2024.
