قسم الرياضيات

يؤدي قسم الرياضيات دوره كجزء من جامعة بحثية كبيرة، فقدم جهود هديدة لتحقيق مهمته في إنشاء واكتشاف ونشر المعرفة الرياضية على أوسع نطاق. تحقق هذه المهمة وفقًا للتقاليد الأخلاقية والقيم الدينية من خلال:

  • إعداد أجيال من العلماء والخريجين العاملين في المراكز العلمية، والبحثية، والتعليمية، والصناعية.
  • تقديم خدمات تعليمية أفضل للطلاب الجامعيين لدراسة الرياضيات، واكتساب مهارات مفيدة من خلال البرامج التعليمية وفقًا للمعايير الوطنية ليصبحوا مستخدمين أكفاء للرياضيات، وليستطيعوا مواصلة النمو في المهن التي يختارونها والعمل كمواطنين منتجين.
  • المساهمة في تقدم العلوم الرياضية من خلال برامج الدراسات العليا والبحوث.
  • توظيف الموارد البشرية والبحث المحتمل والخبرة الاستشارية للمساعدة في حل المشاكل البيئية، وخدمة قطاعات الإنتاج، والعمل على تنمية المجتمع.
  • الحفاظ على السمة المميزة للكلية في إجراء دراسات جنوب الوادي بشكل منفرد، وتنفيذ المشاريع الداعمة للخروج من الوادي الضيق في جنوب مصر.
