Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, Professor Dr. Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty, the Training Unit at the Faculty of Sports Sciences organized a workshop entitled "Institutional Excellence Standards for Administrative Staff at the Faculty." This initiative aligns with the university's commitment to fostering a culture of quality and enhancing institutional performance across all sectors.
The workshop was held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Gamal Mohamed Ali, Director of the Faculty's Training Unit. Mr. Hamdy El-Adawy, Secretary of the Faculty, also participated, along with Mr. Osama Sayed, Assistant Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Mohamed Abbas, Director of the University's Quality and Excellence Department, and several members of the Quality and Excellence Committee.
The workshop took place on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Faculty's discussion hall. It witnessed fruitful interaction from administrative staff members, who demonstrated a clear interest in implementing the concepts of quality and institutional excellence in their work environment.
The workshop addressed several important topics, most notably defining the concept of institutional excellence and its importance in developing administrative performance, reviewing quality standards according to ISO 9001:2015, and clarifying practical application mechanisms within educational institutions. This contributes to achieving efficiency, transparency, and improved service delivery.
The college administration emphasized that organizing this workshop is part of a strategic plan aimed at building qualified administrative personnel capable of keeping pace with modern developments in management systems and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This supports the university's journey toward leadership and institutional accreditation.
