During the visit, His Excellency attended the flag-raising ceremony for the first-year students' study camp, part of the 2025-2026 academic year's sports caravans for community service and environmental development. The camp, held on the college's sports fields, aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and commitment, and to refine students' athletic and behavioral skills.
Also present were Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College; Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Head of the Camp; and the faculty members supervising the camp, who oversee and implement its various programs.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawy conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, to the students, emphasizing the pivotal role of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the importance of its graduates in supporting the development process and building the nation. He pointed out that sports are among the most important tools for success and progress for countries and societies due to their positive impact on the physical and moral development of individuals.
His Excellency also commended the commitment and discipline he witnessed among the first-year students during the camp activities, thanking them and wishing them continued success in their university and professional lives. He affirmed the university's ongoing support for such purposeful activities.
