With hearts that believe in God's will and destiny, the College of Physical Education and all its members, represented by Professor Dr. Imad Samir, Dean of the College, and all the faculty members, employees and students, mourn Dr. Asim Saber Rashid, Professor and Head of the Department of Curricula and Teaching of Physical Education, for the death of his brother, Hajj Atef Saber Rashid, may God have mercy on him. In light of the college's keenness on community participation, the College of Physical Education participated in cooperation with Assiut University and the Southern Military Zone in organizing a mass wedding in Assiut Governorate.

Under the auspices of the Tahya Misr Fund and in the presence of many ministers and presidents of Upper Egypt universities, headed by His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and the deputies and many deans of faculties, and a group of Egyptian singers and artists.

The students of the College of Physical Education contributed with effective organizational participation in the success of the mass wedding activities and appeared in a decent and honorable manner under the supervision of a group of college professors, His Excellency Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Yasser Hassan, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs.
