After reviewing the grievances submitted by the students (Pharmacognosy-2 course) regarding the practical exam, and after re-checking the correction of the exam papers to ensure the marked questions and the calculation of grades, it has been found that no student is entitled to any additional marks.

The  Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy , in collaboration with the  Department of Technical Training and Development at University Hospitals , organized a  training course on First Aid , with the participation of many students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and Assiut National University.

The course was held under the supervision of:

   Prof. Dr. Hassan Refaat Hassan – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs

   Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel-Latif – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

   Prof. Dr. Mostafa Ahmed Hussein – Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry & Coordinator of the Training Program

   Prof. Dr. Gilan Abdel-Razek Abdel-Aleem – Professor at the Department of Industrial Pharmacy & Director of the Quality Assurance Unit

   Dr. Howaida Khalaf – Assistant Consultant, Training Department at University Hospitals & Program Coordinator

   Mrs. Sanaa Mazid – Director of Training Department, University Hospitals

   Dr. Hanaa Rashad Matawe – Fellow, Training Department

   Dr. Enam Mohamed Hassan – Assistant Consultant, Training Department, University Hospitals

   Dr. Neama Ahmed Mohamed – Nursing Fellow, Nursing Administration

   Dr. Salwa Abdel-Gawad Abdel-Rahman – Training Fellow, Training Department

   Dr. Karima Mohamed Sobhy Khalif – Consultant of Public Health and Community Service, Central Administration of Infection Control at University Hospitals

The training program included  theoretical lectures on the first day and practical sessions on the second day , covering several first aid topics such as:

   Diabetic coma

   Burns

   Electric shocks

   Poisoning

   Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

   Safe injection practices

   Measuring blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar

   And many other essential first aid skills

The Faculty of Pharmacy aims, through organizing such courses, to enhance and develop students’ skills in providing immediate support in emergency cases, thus contributing to creating a safe and healthy environment.

? The course was held on  Wednesday and Thursday, August 20–21, 2025 .

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel-Mawly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Noubie Mohamed Hassan, Vice President of Assiut National University,

Prof. Dr. Gihan Nabil Fateeh, Dean of the Faculty, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Hassan Refaat Hassan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of the Summer Semester Examination Committees for the academic year 2024/2025.

The tour covered students of the Pharm D Program, the Pharm D Clinical Pharmacy Program at Assiut University, as well as students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Assiut National University, where the Dean ensured full compliance with all regulations governing the examination process.

This took place on Monday, 25/08/2025

After reviewing the grievances submitted by National University students (Pharmacognosy-1), Summer Semester, regarding Mid-term Exam grades, and after re-checking the exam paper corrections and verifying the marking and calculation, the following was found:

1. Student Mohamed Yassin Sediq was awarded +0.5 marks, becoming 9.5 instead of 9.
2. Student Renad Ahmed Ali was awarded +0.5 mark, becoming 9.5 instead of 9.
3. Student Gergis Samuel was awarded +0.5 mark, becoming 10.5 instead of 10.
4. Student Maryam Tamam Abdelrahman was awarded +0.5 mark, becoming 9 instead of 8.5.
5. Student Maryam Amgd Benamin was awarded +0.5 mark, becoming 7 instead of 6.5
