Mission:

Gerontological nursing department aims to prepare students for working with the elderly through that studying of all the physiological, psychological and social changes that occur for the elderly and also the study of diseases and problems that may occur for the elderly, so that the student be able to identify the nature of age-related changes and provide health and nursing care for the elderly, also, aims to help students learn about the psychological and social needs of the elderly and also to identify the services provided by the community for the elderly to improve the quality of life of the elderly and their families.
