From outside, the council was opened by Professor Dr./Dean of the College, who congratulated the council on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan .

The council adopted the following :

- The Council of Professors of the Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing approved the appointment of Dr. Fayza Ahmed Abdo, Assistant Professor in the Department, to the rank of Professor, based on the decision of the Scientific Committee for Promotions to the Rank of Professors and Assistant Professors in Nursing dated 12-30-2025 AD, which states that the scientific output submitted by Her Excellency qualifies her to obtain the rank of Professor of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing - Assiut University .

- The Committee for Education and Student Affairs, in its session No. (236) held on 5-02-2026, approved the results of the Specialized Bachelor in Nursing Sciences (equivalence) for studying 45 hours for a period of (a full year) and the successful candidates in the January 2026 session, numbering (3 students), who are entitled to be granted the academic degree .

- Approval of the adoption of study schedules, item number (39): regarding the presentation of study schedule dates (the holy month of Ramadan) for students of the four groups, second semester of the academic year 2025-2026 AD .

- The Committee for Education and Student Affairs, in its session No. (236) held on 5-02-2026, approved the application of the University Council’s decision issued in its session held on 23-2-2025 for this academic year 2025-2026 regarding the complaints submitted by fourth-year students (credit hour regulations) regarding increasing the number of hours of the summer semester in order to open specialization courses .

- The council also discussed several topics for the department councils as well as the various sectors of the college .
