THE EFFECT OF HYPEROXYGENATION AND HYPERINFLATION BREATHS ON GAS EXCHANGES AND HOMODYNAMIC STATUS BEFORE AND AFTER ENDOTRACHEAL SUCTIONING OF TRAUMATIZED CRITICALLY ILL PATIENTS

Although endotracheal suctioning for mechanical ventilated patient is routine nursing practice, however this practice is associated with serious complications including hypoxemia, atelectasis, bronchospasm, dysrhythmias, increased intracranial pressure, and airway trauma.
