There are several cancers and diseases which affect the pericardial space around the heart, and pericardial mesothelioma is one of the rarest pathology. It is the most common primary malignant pericardial tumor. The clinical presentation of malignant pericardial mesothelioma includes chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing and severe nocturnal sweating.
