Tariq El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, denied what was reported on some social 
media platforms today, Saturday, regarding the suspension of studies and exams tomorrow 
at the university.

Dr. Tariq El-Gammal stressed the regularity of work within the university sectors tomorrow, 
Sunday, whether in the medical, administrative or educational sectors, and the conduct of 
examinations in all faculties according to the scheduled timetable.

For his part, Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, 
revealed that he issued direct instructions to those working in the university city 
sector to open the city’s doors to expatriate students who do not reside in the city, 
in order to stay overnight, starting from today, Saturday, and throughout the examination 
period, in order to ensure that students reach the examination committees in Its scheduled date
