Assiut University Concludes Today the "Welcome Ramadan" Exhibition Amid the Turnout of its Affiliates

Today, Thursday, February 19, Assiut University concludes the work of the "Welcome Ramadan 1447 AH – 2026 AD exhibition", held in front of the exam halls on the campus, in conjunction with the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, amid the turnout of faculty members, workers and students throughout the period of its stay.

The exhibition is held under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and within the framework of the university's keenness to support its employees during the holy month, by providing food commodities and Ramadan products at reasonable prices, in a way that contributes to reducing burdens and promoting the values of solidarity and solidarity within the university community.

The exhibition is organized by Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and is organized by the University Services Marketing Center under the supervision of Dr. Nesma Ahmed Heshmat, in coordination with Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hamad, coordinator of the exhibition.

The exhibition includes several pavilions, including the pavilion of the National Service Projects Authority – Upper Egypt Company (Assiut Marketing Sector), in addition to the participation of the faculties of agriculture, sugar industry technology, integrated industries, and quality education, which provided various food products and crafts that meet the needs of the university's employees during the holy month.

The curtain falls on its work today, after witnessing the active participation of the university's various sectors and collaborating bodies, in a picture that reflects the university's continued commitment to its societal role alongside its educational and research mission

Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy. South Egypt Cancer Institute Opens a Children's Park and an Outlet for the Sale of Food Commodities

Under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated a children's park and an outlet for the sale of food commodities at the South Egypt Cancer Institute, as part of the university's support for the development of services provided to patients.

This came in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abou El-Magd, Dean of the Institute, Dr. Amr Farouk Murad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ibrahim Abu El-Oyoun, Director of the University Oncology Hospital, and Dr. Khaled Fathi Riyad, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the Institute.

The comprehensive replacement and renovation work of the children's park has been completed and fully developed, and it has been provided with modern recreational games to provide a safe outlet for sick children, which contributes to improving their psychological state and raising their morale during the treatment journey, confirming the university's interest in humanitarian aspects in addition to specialized medical care.

A food outlet was also opened, with the aim of providing the basic needs of patients and their companions at reasonable prices, and reducing their living burdens inside the hospital, reflecting the societal role of the university.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the opening of the children's park and the outlet for the sale of food commodities at the South Egypt Cancer Institute is an important step to support the service of patients, especially children, by providing a more humane therapeutic environment that takes into account psychological aspects in addition to medical care, and contributes to reducing the burden on patients and their companions, thus enhancing the quality of services provided within the institute.

Professor Mohamed Adawy stressed that this step comes within the university's strategy to enhance its social and humanitarian responsibility, and work to create an integrated therapeutic environment that takes into account psychological and social aspects in addition to medical services, pointing out that supporting the psychological state of children with oncology represents an important element in improving their response to treatment and enhancing the chances of recovery.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Abou El-Magd praised the continuous support of the university's administration to the institute, and its keenness to implement development projects that contribute to improving the quality of health services, and providing a supportive, humane therapeutic environment within the institute, which enhances the position of Assiut University as a leading educational and medical institution in Upper Egypt.

In a Ramadan atmosphere overflowing with the spirit of affection and compassion, Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, inspected, on Wednesday, February 18, the activities of the "Welcome Ramadan 1447 AH – 2026 AD exhibition", which will be held during the period from February 15 to 19 in front of the exam halls on the campus, under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, as part of the university's preparations to receive the holy month of Ramadan.

Professor Ahmed El-Minshawi stressed that the exhibition comes as an embodiment of the university's keenness to welcome the holy month in a spirit of cooperation and compassion, by providing the needs of the university's employees of food commodities and Ramadan supplies at reasonable prices, which helps them prepare for the holy month, and promotes the values of solidarity and solidarity within the university community.

The exhibition is organized by the University Services Marketing Center under the supervision of Dr. Nessma Ahmed Heshmat, and in coordination with Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hamad, coordinator of the exhibition.

During his inspection tour, the President of the University praised the variety of pavilions and exhibits that meet the needs of the Holy Month, as the exhibition includes basic food commodities, baked goods, Ramadan drinks, and dairy products, in addition to handicrafts and art that add a distinctive festive character.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy began his tour by inspecting the pavilion of the National Service Projects Authority – Upper Egypt Company (Assiut Marketing Sector), in the presence of Brigadier Yasser Aboushqa and Brigadier General Hatem Mohamed, where the pavilion provides a variety of food commodities, meat, frozen poultry, dairy products, and catering materials, in addition to detergents and consumer goods at reasonable prices.

He also inspected the pavilion of the Faculty of Agriculture, which participates in the products of the dairy factory, the laboratory and bakery of food industries, gluten-free products, the products of the farms of the vegetable department and the greenhouse complex, the poultry and animal production department, the unit for the extraction of oils, medicinal and aromatic plants, and the products of the ornamental plant nursery and landscaping, under the supervision and presence of Dr. Adel Mohammed, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Galal Abdel Fattah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Adel Tamam, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Al-Saghir, Vice Dean The College for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, the heads of departments, and supervisors of the various production units.

The tour included the pavilion of the Faculty of Sugar Industry Technology and Integrated Industries, which displays the products of Egyptian sugar companies, in addition to food products, detergents, and perfumes, under the supervision and presence of Dr. Saleh Mahmoud Ismail, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Raymond Milad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The Faculty of Specific Education also participated in the products of the Public Service Center, which included various handicrafts and artworks, under the supervision of Dr. Yasmine Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the managers and employees of the Center.

Assiut University Inaugurates the Eighth Charity Exhibition of Clothes for the Society for Saving Patients in Upper Egypt

Assiut University, under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, inaugurated today, Tuesday, February 17, the activities of the eighth charity exhibition for ready-to-wear clothes, organized by the Association for Saving Patients in Upper Egypt and Community Development at the university, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed AbdelMawly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Chairman of the Association, Dr. Hassan Salah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, and Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy explained that the organization of the charity exhibition for ready-to-wear comes within the framework of the university's commitment to its societal and humanitarian role, and its keenness to support the most needy groups, especially the patients of Upper Egypt, through qualitative initiatives that contribute to alleviating their living burdens.

The Vice Presidents of the University expressed their happiness with the level of the products offered, which reflects the keenness of the university administration and the association to provide distinguished community services to various groups, within the framework of the university's societal role, and its continuous endeavor to alleviate the burden of living for patients in Upper Egypt, and to provide them with the necessary aspects of support and care, praising the humanitarian role played by the association since the launch of its charitable activities.

For his part, Dr. Hassan Salah explained that the exhibition includes about 4,000 pieces of ready-made clothes and leather products, all in good condition, and are displayed at nominal prices, with the aim of alleviating the inability inside and outside the university.

Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim also pointed out that the exhibition will continue until Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the headquarters of the Medical Research Center next to Al-Rajhi Hospital, calling on those entitled to benefit from the exhibition's activities during its stay.

Assiut University Holds a Session to Distribute the Vacant Administrative Housing Units Announced in November 2025

On Monday, February 16, Assiut University held a session to distribute vacant administrative housing units, in accordance with the announcement issued during the period from 16 to 30 November 2025, under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and under the supervision of professor Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Administrative Housing at the University.

A number of members of the Board of Directors of Administrative Housing participated in the session, namely: Dr. Shehata Al-Dabaa, Engineering Advisor to the President of the University, Dr. Sameh Abdel Salam, Financial Advisor to the President of the University, Dr. Essam Al-Sharif, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Medicine and Member of the Council for Western Housing, Dr. Abdel Wahab Mohamed Ali, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Agriculture and Member of the Council for Eastern Housing, Mr. Ahmed Shawky, Head of the Central Departments for Legal Affairs, Mr. Mustafa Gaber, Director General of the Department of Restrooms and Faculty Members' Residences, and Mr. Hisham Safwat, Director of the Housing Department, in the presence of a number of deans, vice deans, and faculty members applying for housing.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the university administration is keen to apply the standards of transparency and fairness in all procedures for allocating administrative housing units, in order to ensure equal opportunities among faculty applicants, and full compliance with the rules and approved regulations.

The President of Assiut University added that the university continues to work to maximize the benefit of its available assets and capabilities, in a way that contributes to creating stable accommodation conditions for faculty members, in support of their academic and research role, and in a way that reflects the university's commitment to providing organized institutional services according to the highest levels of administrative discipline.

Professor Mohamed Adawy explained that the data of applicants to benefit from administrative housing units has been checked electronically and on paper, after they meet the specific conditions stipulated in the announcement, in accordance with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's Decree No. (351) of 2021, and the Unified Regulations for Administrative Housing approved by the Council of Assiut University.

He added that the number of applicants from faculty members reached 142 applicants, while the number of available units reached 15 units distributed in the Eastern and Western Residences, Al-Walidiya Residences, Nazlat Abdullah Residences, and Qalta Company Residences. During the session, 9 units were selected, while the remaining 6 units will be re-offered to the members applying in the same announcement without opening the door for a new announcement.

Assiut University Launches a Comprehensive Development Convoy to Serve 2471 Citizens in the Village of Al-Awna in Sahel Selim Center

Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Assiut University launched a comprehensive community development convoy, on Saturday, February 14, as part of the "Assiut University Development Caravans for Community Benefit" initiative, to serve 2471 residents of the village of Al-Awna in the center of Sahel Selim in Assiut Governorate, within the framework of the societal role played by Assiut University and its support for the most needy villages, under the supervision of professor Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in coordination with Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, General Coordinator of the Convoys.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the development convoys reflect the university's vision to be present and effective within the community, by providing integrated services that respond directly to the needs of citizens. He stressed that the diversity of participating specializations gives the convoys real strength and impact on the ground, stressing that the university will continue to expand the scope of these initiatives in order to enhance its role as a development partner supporting the state's efforts to improve the quality of life.

The convoy came in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation, the Directorate of Health in Assiut, the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Assiut, the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Assiut, the Directorate of Education in Assiut, the Directorate of Agriculture in Assiut, the Information Technology Institute in Assiut, and the Misr El Kheir Foundation in Assiut, in a model that reflects institutional integration and partnership with the executive authorities in the governorate.

Professor Mohamed Adawy explained that the medical convoy of the Faculty of Medicine examined 640 patients in the specialties of general internal medicine, chest diseases, pediatrics, orthopedics, ear, nose and throat, and ophthalmic surgery, under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Huda Makhlouf, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Amr Mohamed, Supervisor of the Medical Caravans Center, with the participation of a group of doctors, administrative staff and students.

The veterinary convoy of the College of Veterinary Medicine also received 455 cases in the specialties of obstetrics and reproduction, animal medicine, poultry and avian diseases, surgery, anesthesia and radiology, in addition to the implementation of spraying works, under the supervision of Dr. Enas Ahmed Abdel Hafez, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mahmoud Rushdi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Khaled Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Madiha Darwish, former Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and supervisor of the veterinary convoy, with the participation of a number of professors, doctors and students.

The Faculty of Dentistry carried out a diagnostic and awareness convoy during which 93 cases were detected, under the supervision of Dr. Safaa Marzouq, Dean of the College, and Dr. Mohamed Nahed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, with the participation of faculty members, interns, and students.

The College of Pharmacy also organized a convoy specialized in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, which benefited 229 cases, with the dispensing of free medicines and the implementation of an awareness workshop on the safe use of medicines, under the supervision of Dr. Jihan Nabil, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Noha Nahed Attia, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, with the participation of faculty members, teaching assistants and students.

The South Egypt Cancer Institute participated in the examination of 85 cases, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Abou El-Magd, Dean of the Institute, and Dr. Amr Farouk, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, with the participation of a number of doctors.

The College of Nursing also carried out an awareness convoy on first aid for burns, wounds, fainting, scorpion and snake bites, benefiting 38 cases, under the supervision of Dr. Fatima Rushdy, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Nahid Shawkat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The College of Computers and Information organized an awareness course on cybercrimes and the safe use of the Internet, which benefited 75 participants, under the supervision of Dr. Tayseer Hassan Abdel Hamid, Dean of the College, and Dr. Dalia Nashat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The College of Science also carried out an awareness convoy on rationalizing water and electricity consumption, combating smoking, and maintaining family cohesion, which benefited 80 participants, under the supervision of Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Tayeb, Dean of the College, and Dr. Essam Fadl Abu Zeid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The Faculty of Agriculture organized an awareness seminar on modern irrigation methods and the problems of crops and medicinal and aromatic plants, under the supervision of Dr. Adel Mohammed, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Galal Abdel Fattah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The College of Specific Education also provided technical workshops and awareness seminars that benefited 130 participants, under the supervision of Dr. Yasmine Al-Kahki, Dean of the College, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and General Coordinator of the Caravans.

The College of Social Work participated in an awareness caravan on community issues including violence against women, female genital mutilation, and child marriage, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Suleiman, Dean of the College, and Dr. Randa Mohamed Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The College of Education also organized an educational caravan on women's education, literacy and dropout from education, under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Huwail, Dean of the College, and Dr. Amani Sharif, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The College of Early Childhood Education carried out a psychological awareness caravan and recreational activities that benefited 125 beneficiaries, under the supervision of Dr. Reham Rifaat Al-Meligi, Dean of the College, and Dr. Lamia Kadwani, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The College of Fine Arts also organized artistic activities, and the College of Sport Sciences organized sports and recreational activities that benefited 150 children, under the supervision of the leaders of the two colleges.

Misr El Kheir Foundation participated in receiving applications for the cases of the bereaved and organizing a legal seminar, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Farag, Director of the Foundation's branch in Assiut, and a number of the Foundation's officials.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, General Coordinator of the convoys, stressed that the convoys represent an integrated platform for health care, veterinary support, awareness and capacity building, stressing that the university will continue to implement its plan to reach the largest number of villages in Assiut Governorate.

Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Hamad, General Supervisor of the Committee for Measuring the Impact of the Convoys, and members of the committee from the Faculties of Social Work, Agriculture, and Education participated in the convoys.

The participation of the Decent Life Foundation came under the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Galal, Director of the Foundation's office in Assiut, and Eng. Mina Ibrahim, General Coordinator of the Foundation in Assiut, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Sami Al-Qadi, Deputy General Coordinator of the Foundation in Assiut, and many coordinators and volunteers.

Today, Sunday, February 15, 2026, Assiut University inaugurated the "Welcome Ramadan 1447 AH – 2026 AD exhibition", under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and the supervision of  Professor Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, within the framework of the university's keenness to support its affiliates and alleviate their living burdens in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.

The opening of the exhibition was witnessed by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, stated that the organization of the "Welcome Ramadan" exhibition comes within the framework of the university's readiness to receive the holy month of Ramadan with its values of solidarity and cooperation, stressing the university's constant keenness to be a support and supporter of its affiliates on various occasions. He explained that the exhibition aims to provide the family's needs of basic commodities and high-quality products at reasonable prices, in a way that creates a suitable atmosphere to welcome the holy month, and reflects the spirit of participation and integration within the university community, stressing that such initiatives embody The university's mission is not limited to education and scientific research, but extends to supporting the community and promoting the values of solidarity and joint work, especially in the seasons of giving.

The exhibition will be held in front of the exam halls on the campus, and will continue until February 19, 2026, and will be organized by the University Services Marketing Center under the supervision of Dr. Nessma Ahmed Heshmat, Director of the Center, and in coordination with Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hamad, Coordinator of the exhibition.

The General Services Center of the Armed Forces participates in the exhibition, in the presence of Brigadier General Hatem Mohammed, Director of the Branch of the General Services Center of the Armed Forces, where it offers a variety of basic food commodities, meat, frozen poultry, dairy products, and food items, in addition to detergents and consumer goods at reasonable prices.

The Faculty of Agriculture participates in the products of the dairy laboratory, the laboratory and bakery of food industries, gluten-free products, the products of the farms of the Vegetable Department and the greenhouse complex, the Poultry and Animal Production Department, the Oils and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Extraction Unit, in addition to the products of the Ornamental Plants Nursery and Landscaping, under the supervision and presence of Dr. Adel Mohammed, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Galal Abdel Fattah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Adel Tammam, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Al-Saghir, Vice Dean for Studies Affairs. The College of Sugar Industry Technology and Integrated Industries also participates in the products of national sugar companies, in addition to a number of food products, detergents and perfumes, under the supervision of Dr. Saleh Mahmoud Ismail, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Dr. Raymond Milad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohamed Al-Badri, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and employees.

The College of Specific Education contributes to the exhibition through the products of the Public Service Center, which include handicrafts and artistic crafts, under the supervision of Dr. Yasmine Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Haitham Abdel Rahim, Financial Director of the Center, and Ms. Ghada Waheed, Administrative Director of the Center, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Mr. Ahmed Farraj, Secretary of the College, and employees.

The exhibition witnessed a wide turnout of faculty members, staff, students and visitors, in light of the great variety of products on display, which include basic food commodities, baked goods, Ramadan drinks, and dairy products, reflecting the atmosphere of the holy month and meeting the needs of the family

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy Meets with the Governor of Assiut, the Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and the Guests of the Eighth Combined Educational Symposium at Assiut University

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, met yesterday with the university guests participating in the activities of the eighth combined educational symposium, organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces in Egyptian universities and institutes, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the sidelines of the symposium held at Assiut University.

The meeting included Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, Major General Hisham Hosny, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and his leadership team, along with Dr. Essam Farhat, President of Minia University, Dr. Mansour Kabash, President of Sphinx University, Dr. Gamal Taj, President of the New Assiut University of Technology, Dr. Hussein Taha, Vice President of Sohag University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Saad, Dean of the Egyptian-German College of Technology.

The holding of the eighth combined educational symposium at Assiut University comes within the framework of the national role played by Egyptian universities in supporting national awareness among students, promoting the values of belonging and loyalty, and consolidating the concepts of national security, reflecting the integration between the state's educational and military institutions.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Shawkat Saber, Secretary General of the University, along with several military and security leaders and deans of colleges.

Assiut University Organizes Specialized Training Courses for Students of PPIS and ETSP Programs in Cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research

Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the university organized, on Monday, February 9, specialized training courses for students of the Public Policy Information Systems (PPIS) programs at the Faculty of Commerce and English Translation (ETSP) at the Faculty of Arts, in cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, under the auspices of Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the Center and in coordination with the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems in the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the University.

The courses are held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The activities will continue over three days, in implementation of the cooperation protocol concluded between the two sides, and within the framework of the integration of roles between academic and research institutions to support community issues and human development.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the university is keen to prepare its students and qualify them for the labor market through specialized training programs based on the integration of academic knowledge and practical application, pointing out that the cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research represents a successful model of institutional partnership aimed at building the student's personality scientifically and professionally, and enhancing his awareness of community issues.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla stressed that these training courses represent a real opportunity for students to gain practical experiences outside the traditional framework of lectures, and contribute to developing their personalities, building self-confidence, and enhancing their ability to deal with the requirements of professional life.

Professor Mohamed Adawy praised the importance of cooperation with the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, as it adds a scientific and applied dimension that contributes to raising the quality of training outputs and maximizing their societal impact. He also stressed the role of the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems in providing interactive applied training that links academic knowledge with practical application, and enhances the role of the university as a main engine of development.

In the same context, Dr. Yasser El-Sayed, Coordinator of Events and Training for the Joint Cooperation Protocol, explained that these events represent a real model of partnership between the academic side represented by Assiut University, and the research and applied expertise provided by the National Center for Social and Criminal Research, in order to achieve integration between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, stressing that the real investment of any society starts from investing in its youth, and that this partnership reflects a strategic vision to achieve the knowledge and professional sustainability of university students.

The training courses are divided into two training courses over three days, the first is entitled "Advanced Capacity Building" for students of the Public Policy Information Systems (PPIS) program at the College of Commerce, during which Dr. Abdullah Sulaiman Abdullah, Assistant Professor of Statistics at the Center, will lecture, where he will review the methods of analyzing and presenting smart data using Power BI software.

The second course, titled "Career Readiness and Career Building" for students of the English Translation Program (ETSP) at the College of Arts, will be held during which Dr. Yasser Al-Sayed will present a workshop on the concept of career readiness and its importance in the graduation stage, building professional identity, career planning, interview skills and building professional networks.

Dr. Abdo Al-Ashri, Assistant Professor of Law at the Center, will also participate in a workshop on legal awareness for youth as a safe gateway to the labor market and entrepreneurship, in addition to a workshop presented by Dr. Ghada Riyad, Economics Lecturer at the Center, on the job needs in the labor market, mechanisms for joining it, ways to achieve professional success, and choosing the appropriate career path for university students.

For his part, Dr. Ali Kamal Mabad, Director of the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems, explained that these courses come within the framework of the university's mission to serve the community and develop the environment, and embody the vision of the Egyptian state in investing in human capital, stressing that the training programs contribute to building the capacities of students and graduates through contemporary training content based on scientific research and related to the actual issues of society.

Dr. Asmaa Gaber Mahran, Deputy Director of the Center and Protocol Coordinator at the University, pointed out that the training courses are designed according to a scientific methodology that takes into account national priorities and supports the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Higher Education Strategy, explaining that the programs aim to develop cognitive and practical skills, consolidate the values of citizenship and social responsibility, and enhance awareness of contemporary social issues, in a way that qualifies cadres capable of actively participating in sustainable development efforts.
