The Board had before it the recommendation of the Board of the Mining and Metals Engineering Section for the appointment of Ms. Eng. Nurhan Ashraf Mahmood, who was sworn in as assistant teacher, as she was committed to his work, conduct and improved performance since her appointment as a repeater.Decision: The Board recommends appointment. 6. The Board had before it the opinion and suggestions of the general sections for the commissioning of the faculty graduates for 2016/2017, based on the principle of intergenerational continuity of faculty members as well as bridging the deficit in certain disciplines.Decision: They agreed to the Board to request a commissioning (number of 13) college lecturers.

8 - The Board of Directors approved the approval of the Council of the Department of Architecture to accept the donation from Mr. Dr. / Mohamed Ayman Abdel-Majid Dheif - Assistant Professor of the Department of the amount of five thousand pounds, but to contribute to support the Ninth International Conference Section.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 9- The Board was presented with the approval of the Board of the Architecture Department to nominate Mr. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Samie Eid - Professor in the department - to the award in the fields of the Academy of Engineering Sciences.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 10. The Board presented the approval of the Graduate Studies Committee to the note submitted by Mr. / Dean of the College on the formation of the committees of governance on the degree of doctorate "Article (104) of the Law on the Organization of Universities No. 49 of 1972 concerning the formation of committees of governance on the master's and doctoral dissertations:"The two members or one of them may be former professors or those of their scientific level from the specialists, provided that at least one of them is outside the college for Masters and outside the university for doctoral dissertations."Whereas, the decision of the Council of the University in its session held on 27/5/2001 decided to form the governing committees on the doctoral dissertation "The composition includes two members from outside Assiut University (among the professors)."    As the Faculty of Engineering, Assiut University has many professors in different disciplines, some of whom reached the international degree in specialization. Cultural relations affairs 1. The Board of Directors of the Civil Engineering Department and the Committee on Cultural Relations agreed to the presence of Dr. Amr Abu Bakr Ali, the teacher in the section, "Sixteenth Conference of Plumers in Concrete" held from April 29 to May 1, 2018 in Washington, DC, at the University's expense. Resolution: Approved by the Council   2. The Board of Directors of the Architectural Engineering and Cultural Relations Committee approved the attendance of Dr. Salwa Abdel-Rahman Mujahid, Assistant Professor of the Department of Green Heritage at the British University in Al-Shorouk City, which was held from 6-8 / 3/2018. Community Service and Environment Development affairs 1. The Board had before it the discussion of the item on "Development and quality work" for the community service and environmental development sector in the college.Decision: To develop quality work in the community service and environmental development sector, the Committee recommends that the following points be guided by: Development of the Centre for Engineering Studies and consultancy in the faculty through the development of the Centre's special services and the establishment of a clear mechanism for the distribution of work by specialization, with increased returns for entrepreneurs.Holding symposiums outside the university in partnership with stakeholders to solve community problems in the engineering sector.Develop training courses to include all disciplines for faculty members and to publish the website.Attract experienced college graduates to exchange scientific experiences with the academy and invite them to hold seminars and training courses.Development of the work of the production units in the college through the development of regulations in proportion to local market prices as well as awareness-raising through websites and publicizing the possibilities available in the college to cover the needs of the community.To reconsider the identification of the required competencies so that they will be a young cadre for the continued use of productive units.  2.
