The objective of the Bachelor of Arts in Islamic studies is to develop in students the ability to examine critically the different aesthetic, intellectual, and cultural components of this civilization.
Each student is required to fulfill Arabic language requirements and take a common core of courses from Arabic Literature, Islamic Studies, Middle Eastern History, and Islamic Art and Architecture.
This department qualifies its graduates in accordance with the demands of the labor market locally and internationally in the fields of Ancient Egyptian Archaeology. The graduates are then able to upgrade the research in the fields overall discovered archaeology & excavations and Propagate archaeological awareness as well as academic counsels to monument sectors.
The Archeology department at the Faculty of Arts AUN aims to be distinguished in the field of Archeological studies to serve the local community.
