-Prof .Dr: Yusuf Ahmed Gad Al Rab, the vice dean for Community &Environmental Development, declared that the college plans to reshape the "Friends of The Environment" group. In addition, Prof Yusuf asked all the students to join the group.

-Within the framework of the program of Open Education, The Media Department announced for receiving a new batch of students of Open Education of those who are obtaining the General Secondary or Al Azhar Secondary, or The Technical Diplomas or its equivalent.

Geography Department and the Unit of technological services of the faculty will held a course on the use of the total station devices and its applications in the field of Geography Survey for the third and fourth years of Geography Department maps group, from 2- 5 /11/ 2013 .

-          The November 2013 Exam of the Preliminary year will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 7 /11 /2013 in Prof . Ezzat AbdAllah's Hall.

 Geography Department will hold the seminar of the candidate / Safaa Mohammed Sayed for the Master Degree under the title of " The Geographic Mapping of the Basic Education schools in Assuit city: A study in the Geography of services ". This will be on Sunday 3 / 11 / 2013 at 4: 00 P.M.

Survival to God - my sincere condolences to the family of the Faculty of Arts of the death of Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Haroun, Director General of the college accounts

The faculty of Arts will take part in the University Chess Championship which is sponsored by the General Organization of Youth care. This championship will include all the university faculties and houses. This will happen from 20/11/2013 to 28/11/2013 in exams hall n. B.

The masters discussion session of the researcher / Mohammed Samy El Kady will be held in the Faculty of Arts. The thesis will be under the title " Drawings of water Scenes Since the Seventh Century and Until the Fourteenth Century in the Light of  A Coptic Museum Collection : An Archaeological and Art Study". This will be on Sunday 24 /11 / 2013 in Assuit University residence chamber in Al –Dokki at 12: 00 P.M .

The Faculty Groups Panorama Festival will be held during the first half of December in the Faulty of Arts. This will include the different student activities ( cultural –  artistic- social – sportive – wander)

The committee of Graduate Studies and research, on 9th of October,2013, agreed on recommendation  of granting Student/ Abdullah Hassan Nagy Hassan, from Yemen, The philosopher degree in literature/Geography, specialty of Marine Environment Geography, in the subject title " Ecosystems in Yemen Island Saqtare", a study in marine environment  Geography, with first grade of honor degree
