The faculty of arts participated in the sixth festival for the students' affairs from 1 to 2 December.

The department of psychology will hold a seminar entitled " The psychological health in a changing Arab spring" on Wednesday 27-11-2013 at the hall of prof. EzzatAbdallah. The lecturer will be prof. Ahmed GamalAbou el azaym, the ex-president of the international psychological health union

The board of the college agreed in its meeting 19/11/2013 to endowed the researcher Magda salim the PH.D in the major of Sociology, sociology of population, under the title of "Awareness of Reproductive Health issues among Residents of Rural and Urban Areas" with the rank of honor.

The board of the Arabic Department  agreed on the appointment of Asmaa Muhammad Abd Al Hameed,the demonstrator in the position of assistant lecturer in the major of literature in the Department itself.

Council approved the Psychology Department faculty Dr. / Hassan Mohamed Riad - teacher, Department of Psychology - to the University of Benghazi, Libya, for the year 2013/2014.

-The College Board approved the inclusion of the Anti-Smoking Unit and G I S Unit to the organizational structure of the college. Also the board agreed to change the name of the Crisis Committee into the Crisis Unit and modifying it in the organizational structure of the college.

The Board of the Faculty of Arts at its meeting held on 11.19.2013 membership Professor Mustafa Ali Ali Abugder of the Council of the Faculty of Arts as an adviser to the governor of Assiut for Social Affairs.

The committee of Cultural Relations, on 9th of October session,2013, agreed on the participation of Dr. Ammar Ahmed Khalaf , lecturer in the department of eastern languages, in the third international  Arabic conference in the UAE, from 7th to 10th of May, 2014, posting a research in the title: "The Hebrew Andalusian  term throughout the literature of Soliman Ebn Jeberol" 

The committee of Cultural Relations, on 9th of October session,2013, agreed on the participation of Dr. Dina Ali Ezzat Abdel Rahman, lecturer in the department of sociology, in the conference held in France, from 20th to 21st of december,2013, in the title: "The Business and Social Science Research Conference" Posting a research in the title: "The Impact of some social factors on The values of work and the sustainable development"

The committee of Cultural Relations, on 9th of October session,2013, agreed on the participation of Dr. Lobna Mohammed Abdo Shaddad, with a research, in the International Conference  of the faculty of Arts, El Minia University, under the title " The cultural heritage between challenges of present and prospects for the future", from 24th to 26th of November, 2013.
