Board of Directors Meetings:
The Board of Directors meets at the invitation of its chairman at least once every three months or at the request of the majority of the members. A meeting is not valid unless more than half of its members are present. The chairman of the board presides over the session; if he is not present, the most senior faculty member takes his place. Board decisions are made by a majority vote, and if the votes are equal, the side to which the chairman belongs prevails.

- Monitor the hospital's operations in light of its objectives and budget.
