And a commitment to perform an advocacy role, which has enjoined this context, the all social workers either inside or outside institutions must advocate about rights of clients in care services by seeking to get appropriate resources that meet needs of customers and strengthen public welfare of society at all levels, both local and national and global. They should awareness of the impact of policy on practice and advocate for a change about policy and legislation that will improve social conditions and supports social justice. The focus of Social Work was to make sense of the current context in which we work and live through community-Based approach. Where community organizing plays the active role in partnership with other Social Work methods. The Previous studies have highlighted the important of this role for all social workers to advocate about rights of their clients in social care services. Because of the marginalization and deprivation due to the current transformations and the impact of globalization policies and what preceded them. The striking observation that some of these studies are interested only in specific areas of practice such as working in the field of health and disaster relief, and child care, etc. The current study aimed to determine the advocacy role played by social workers in social institutions to advocate about rights of their clients in social care services, and the constraints and difficulties were experienced. The study was descriptive type and used methodology of the social survey through sampling. The study concluded several results discussed in the context of the presentation of results, and then reached for a simplified conceptual model of the nature of the role played by social organizer to advocate about rights of clients in social welfare services, as part of the back-up and support of all social work institutions.

Research Abstract
Abstract:The socio-economic baseline survey was carried out from January to July 2010 under the overall supervision and co-ordination of RGBS as survey owner. The survey approach, the design of the questionnaires and the survey schedule were developed in co-operation with RGBS by the ABDC sociologist, Ms. C. Eckhart. Survey fieldwork at household level was carried out between February and June 2010 by a team of qualified field researchers co-ordinated by two social scientists, all from the University of Assiut, Faculty of Social Work. The survey was carried out in (i) the areas required by the project, and (ii) the residential locations of the potentially affected households. Preparation of the fieldwork programme as well as focus group discussions were assisted by the local Ministry of Social Solidarity (MSS)1 office in Bani Murr. This report compiles the results of the socio-economic baseline survey. The report will serve as reference for the establishment of the project's Social Action Plan and as a baseline for the project's monitoring programmed.the survey identified four main groups of potentially project affected people: Farmers using government land required by the project, Agricultural laborers obtaining income by working on land required by the project, Fishermen operating in the stretch of the river Nile downstream of the existing Assiut Barrage and around Bani Murr Island, Owners of private land and assets required by the project. the survey generated lists of the names of project affected households (households using land required by the project). These lists were compared with the names obtained by ESA during their surveys for land acquisition, with a 100% match of names for the right bank area (after the integration of 4 additional households in the survey) and an almost 100% match on Bani Murr Island The survey also generated name lists of (i) potentially affected fishing households and (ii) potentially affected agricultural laborers working on Bani Murr Island. The survey generated lists of members of each surveyed household and their occupational skills (as indicated by the interviewees).

A case study of the community organizing process in addressing the problems raised during conducting a survey for the New Assiut Barrage and Hydropower Plant project.

Research Abstract
Abstract This study is an intrinsic case study intended to provide in-depth information about the community organizing process; stages, activities, Techniques and tools in the context of conducting survey research for the New Assiut Barrage and Hydropower Plant project. As The survey application process, a purposive sample Frome the project-affected people (PAP) (households/ individuals /groups) should have been categorically identified; especially those who have suffered damage. In addition to the complex problems faced by researcher and field research team (FRT) in determining the actually worthy numbers from adversely - project affected (the owners of lands, users of governmental lands and fishermen. These issues and other have represented an integrated process for community organizing. An intrinsic case study involves looking at individual cases in great detail to examine their particularity and complexity (Stake 1995: 3). According to Merriam (1988,cited in Bosma et al 2009,), case study methodology is particularly useful in examining process and understanding events, making it well suited for an examination of community organizing. The case will be examined through evaluating data collected during the community organizing process and content analysis of narratives compiled by the researcher, co-ordinated by FRT, and to document their work. As part of the process evaluation, FRT recorded all community contacts, action team meetings, focus groups, minutes, and others activities, whether included or not in the survey plan, into a written database. The case study results and lessons learned were discussed.
