Internship year students at the Faculty of Nursing, Assiut University, concluded their training workshops today. These workshops were designed to develop the students' skills and qualify them both scientifically and practically as part of the orientation program for the compulsory training year (internship).
The activities continued for four consecutive days and included the following workshops:
Safe Injection Training and Sterilization: Training on safe injection techniques and the proper sterilization of medical instruments.
Infection Control and Hand Hygiene: A specialized course held at the Center for Training and Continuing Education and the faculty's laboratories, focusing on infection control protocols and correct hand-washing techniques.
First Aid Course: Intensive training on emergency response and life-saving procedures.
Brainstorming Sessions: Interactive discussion circles to encourage the exchange of experiences and ideas among students.
Objectives:
These events aim to enhance the efficiency of the students and provide them with the essential practical expertise required for their professional future in the healthcare sector.
