Activities of the Training Course "The Art of Pleading"

Among the activities of the training course "The Art of Pleading" 
organized by the College of Law on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. 
This comes within the framework of the college's orientation 
to combine theoretical study with practical application to develop students' skills 
and provide them with more practical experience.

The College of Law is organizing an applied course entitled "Drafting Contracts in Arabic and English"

Under the auspices of Prof. Tariq Abdullah Al-Gamal, President of the University, 
and Prof. Shehata Ghareeb Shalgami, Vice President for Student Affairs

The College of Law is organizing an applied course entitled 
"Drafting Contracts in Arabic and English"

The course aims to

Introduce students to the principles of legal contracting

Develop contract drafting skills in both Arabic and English

At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate of completion

 

Blogger training course

In the context of student activity - to which Assiut University and the Faculty of Law 
paid great attention - and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gamal, 
President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education 
and Student Affairs, the "Basma" family held a training course for the Blogger platform, 
and the course dealt with several axes from It will raise the technical competence 
of the participating students.

It is noteworthy that the "Basma" family was established at the Faculty of Law in 2019, 
before it was registered as a central family at Assiut University.

with the participation of 10 student teams at the Faculty of Law.

Prof. Tarek El-Gamal, President of Assiut University, praised the mock trial competition 
organized by the Faculty of Law, which showed an outstanding level for students, 
who demonstrated their ability to express, rhetoric and practical practice of what is being
 studied theoretically in the faculty. Linking theory to practice through training and simulation 
and creating a spirit of positive competition among students.

This came in a statement to His Excellency at the conclusion of the activities 
of the mock trials competition organized by the Faculty of Law at the university from Sunday,
 April 17 to Thursday, April 21.
The university president explained that the competition’s activities witnessed a competition 
between ten teams of distinguished college students, under the supervision and training of 
the faculty assistants in the college, and the evaluation came under the supervision of 
Prof. English and Academic Supervisor, as well as members of experienced specialists; 
The results of the competition and awarding of winners will be announced soon.
During the conclusion of the events, Prof. Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education 
and Student Affairs, stressed the keenness of the university administration to support, 
encourage and qualify students to participate in many events in various fields, 
pointing to the continued support of the university administration to encourage its distinguished 
students and develop their creative abilities and work to develop and qualify them 
practically Scientifically, to refine the student’s personality, train the skills 
and arts of judicial and legal work, and expand their legal and cultural awareness 
of the problems of their society and the issues it faces.
Prof. Hossam Mohamed El-Sayed Effendi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, 
pointed out the importance of mock trials and simulation models for the law student to refine 
his personality and train him to perform all legal tasks and introduce him to the legal and judicial work 
environment.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Hadi Abdul-Hakim, Director of the English Language Division and Academic Supervisor 
also indicated that the competition witnessed a strong competition from students and distinguished 
presentations for mock courts, during which each team presented a legal case and prepared it 
well and represented all its elements, including defendants, defense, prosecution, judges, 
secretaries and others, in the presence of Inside the college, it included Prof. Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, 
Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Muammar Ratib Abdel Hafez, 
Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hisham Farid Rostom, 
Prof. Dr. Hilali Abd El-Lah Ahmed, Dr. Kamal El-Din Hussein, Dr. Abdel Ghaffar Jaber Mahran 
and Dr. Muhammad Refaat Abdel Halim and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Mahfouz,In addition to 
the presence of a distinguished elite of judges, including Counselor Osama Abdel Moez Mohamed, 
Counsellor at the Court of Cassation, Counsellor Mahmoud Saad Abdel Hafeez, 
Counsellor at the Court of Appeal, and lawyers, Dr. Ayman Bushra Gad Al-Haq, 
Secretary-General of the North Assiut Bar Association, and Professor Magdi Mohamed Karim, 
a lawyer at the Cassation, also participated. The competition was organized 
by Dr. Ashraf Jaballah, Director of Youth Welfare Department at the college, 
Professor Ghada Hamdi Abdel Latif, at the Youth Welfare Department, student Mustafa Mohamed Thabet, 
President of the Student Union of the College of Law, and Rafie Saeed Mohamed, 
Vice President of the Union.
