The Faculty of Law, Assiut University continues its national role in building awareness.
Launching a series of awareness seminars on the importance of participating in
the presidential elections in all university colleges and institutes.
Today, the first seminar was launched by the College of Computers and Information,
under the title “For the sake of your country, be positive and participate in the 2024
presidential elections.”
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University,
Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student
Affairs, Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Ragab Muhammad Al-Kahlawy,
Vice President of the College for Education and Student Affairs; The College of Law organized
the first awareness seminars under the title: “For the sake of your country, be positive
and participate in the 2024 presidential elections.”
“At the College of Computers today, November 27, which is scheduled to be held in the university’s
various colleges, until December 9, to educate male and female students about the importance
of participating in the presidential elections, in which an elite group of faculty members
at the university’s Faculty of Law will lecture.
The symposium was attended by Dr. Tayseer Hassan, Dean of the College of Computers,
Dr. Khaled Fathi, Vice Dean of the College of Computers for Education and Student Affairs,
Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Professor of Public Law and Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Rajab
Al-Kahlawi, Professor and Head of the Department of Public Law and Vice Dean of the College
of Law for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Iyad Ahmed Abdel Mawla. Teaching Assistant
in the Civil Law Department.
Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber confirmed that the college is under the patronage of Mr. Prof. Dr. Ahmed
Al-Minshawy, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of
the University for Education and Student Affairs; It intends to organize a series of seminars
in all colleges and institutes of the university.
These seminars come as part of the college’s pioneering and distinguished role in spreading
and raising the level of awareness among young people, and urging them, in light of the current
presidential election, to participate positively in the electoral process, noting that effective
participation; It helps support the stability and advancement of the Egyptian state, and that
youth have a major role to play in supporting their country and improving its image before
the whole world.
His Excellency also stressed the importance of youth participation in such seminars and events.
Given the importance of political awareness and freedom of opinion as one of the principles of
democracy adopted and supported by the democratic Egyptian state in the new republic, noting
the necessity of youth participation in the upcoming presidential elections; To complete
the process of construction and development, and to achieve the principles of justice and
a decent life; For all segments of Egyptian society.
Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi also praised the role of the state in supporting youth, and that it opens
the way for them to participate in all fields, praising the great support of the university
administration in launching this ray of light and for shedding light on this series of seminars,
hoping that it will bear fruit in increasing political and national awareness among young people.
So that they are not led by destructive ideas that aim to harm the homeland.
